9:00 PM
I mean you wouldn't expect him to go "WAR NOW" at everyone, right?
nobody ever does

in this situation bigger countries won't do anything, and they're not obligated to do anything, so yeah he's not afraid
if he goes any farther, though, he should be afraid

@AlexM. ... and that's exactly what he wants! damn trickster!

and yes they did violate Ukraine's independence. and because of it, it may allow Ukraine to produce nukes again, because the Budapest Memorandum was violated. I'm not sure about that one, though. it'll be interesting to watch that play out.

afraid that a war will start, in which Russia would be on equal foot with the US and others
which is not that scary
I'm sure Russia can get China to play along with it

USA would just ragequit and blow a hole in the atmosphere for all of us

9:02 PM
NK would launch paper missiles at SK for the lulz

gah, student here for tutoring. I'm out.

Moldova would clearly be forced to join Russia as they're brainwashed

it's like seriously is it so much to ask, that adults don't act like fucking 12 year olds over shiny things and harsh words?

actually that's an interesting thought
if Moldova's people did the same as Ukraine's
would Russia invade them too
probably not
they're like Romania, but a lot worse
but since they're Romanians
you could say Moldova is like Romania's poor neighborhood

user4704
Okay I give up.

9:09 PM
I am turning off VS2013's Intellisense formatting again.

:(

I'm not sure exactly what your problem is, but can't you hit escape when intellisense lights up?

user4704
No, I'm talking about the formatting.

user4704
Control-K, D, "autoformat as I <X>," et cetera.

the incredible adventures of van helsing is on discount @ Steam
it's a very good hack and slash game

user4704
9:16 PM
It's broken and doesn't respect preferences w.r.t to binary operators (and/or doesn't know how to parse some binary operators, such as "+", in some contexts, such as inside []).

it's like Diablo 3 but without the microtransactions and all that

that's embarassing, Josh

for $4 you can't go wrong

user4704
I know.

Diablo 3 doesn't have microtransactions anyway

9:17 PM
the item shop
whatever the hell it's called

it's gone
very soon
sometime this month
or
never use it

yeah but you can't compare it like that

which is what i did]

Van Helsing offered a better alternative at release time
it probably still does

i'd still be playing D3, I think, if I could play it with friends

9:18 PM
there is a difference between making a game with an item shop in mind
and making a game with gameplay in mind

D3 I think just had the item shop, I don't feel it changed the gameplay much if you didn't use it
like I didn't feel there was some part of the game missing because I didn't use it

that's what everyone says about Blizzard's games lol
"I didn't feel disadvantaged by not using it."
yeah I guess

well, I only played D3 solo hardcore

Blizzard does stuff like this right, like Valve also does

so not going to the shop meant I was playing the game
had I been in with other chars using it,then I would have felt it

9:21 PM
everyone knows D3 was blizzard milking the underground bot system

I'm pretty sure Blizz did focus on the item shop
and you'd have to be silly to not think this way
the auction house was a very elaborate feature

It didn't feel like the LoL design where the Runes are clearly designed to get you into the shop

Chat is flying today.

it feels like they designed D3, and someone blopped the auction house on top, elaborate though it is

well yeah
the item shop in TF2 was also built upon TF2
but it's arguably Valve's focus now

9:23 PM
I haven't experienced the T2 item shop

Valve also allowed players to sell their own stuff... which sort of made it unnecessary for them to work further for the money

never liked T2
TF2 i mean
it's on mac now maybe I should try it again

9:39 PM
I tried it once, didn't like it. I liked Counter strike a lot more

you make me want to play CS again
but I sort of don't want to
I'll just install it for now

lol
I have to paint more ghost sprites :/

I went back and played my long-time favourite game: DoD, and it was epic

Ugh, you guys are making me think of games from when I was a kid. I need to go back and play twilight princess again...

@hasherr Umm...
lol

9:49 PM
?
I know it's not an old game.

Yeah I just feel old :P
And I'm not is the worst part xD

What are you, like 30?

Oh, lol
Ma bad
Can I get your guys' opinions on something?

Nope.

9:51 PM
I should make an article called "Vim taught me..."

Lol

the first thing would be
"... it was Eclipse's autocomplete that knew how to call base class constructors in Java, not me."

Alright, so let's say there are some parents and they have a kid. Now, this kid is a teenager, and he makes a significant amount of money for his age. Like, let's say six figures. Not even 18 yet.
In fact, he's probably making even more than the father, who works to feed the family.

That's his parents money, unless he lives in California and is working in film :\

@hasherr HOLY SHIT
YOU MANAGED TO HIDE THE FACT THAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT YOUR HIGH SCHOOL COLLEAGUE SO WELL
FUCK MAN TEACH ME THAT STUFF
IT WOULD SO HELP ME

9:54 PM
Now, given the teenager's accomplishements, the parents ask their child to help contribute to the household by using some of his money to pay the bills. Obviously not taking large portions of the cash, but just enough to help with the bills.

Well, at least if it's going through them. Which it likely is, because I don't think teenagers can have single person bank accounts, and they can't start companies.

So should he help pay the bills?

Doesn't hurt.

yes
unless he wants to pay his own bills
that means unless he wants to get kicked out of the house

Hoarding isn't being a team player is it, especially when most of his care is probably taken care of by his parents.
You can't kick an under 18 year old out :\

9:55 PM
lol pussies

If I had a min wage job and my parents asked me to help with the bills, I'd do it.
I can believe this kid is being so selfish.

nah, as a parent I'd refuse to pay my son's bills if he earned more than me
as a parent you look after your kid until he's able to look after himself
if he can afford a fucking servant, then let him go

I partially agree.
He was complaining about it the other day in CS class.
I don't want to sit next to him anymore, lol.

What an asshole

Self entitlement ftw :p
