@Cerberus YES! Well, not about that. More of actually making it through a whole day's worth of EL&U chat without wanting to gouge my eyes out. Y'all have gotten mellow, or maybe today was just a particularly lucid day.
Oh, that is even better. I'm afraid I just bought (supposedly animal-friendly) hamburgers. But I fried them myself? I I added all the stuff that goes with them.
1. Cut potatoes in some pieces that look remotely like fries. Flemish fries are bigger, so that's easier. 2. Fry them in a regular frying pan with some oil (but not a lot: say, thrice as much as when frying vegetables or something), on high heat, for about 10–15 minutes.
And pre-cut "fries" that you have to fry at home are low quality. Cutting your own potatoes is worth it. I don't remove the skin, btw, but you can (I like the taste of fried skin).
@Mien well, you were going to introduce us to the wonderful world of Belgian cuisine... so, there must be something. Like, maybe Belgium has special dishes that don't get stuck in mustaches? ;-p
