@AnubianNoob A lot of drama, some of which spilled over into here. Nothing to really worry about, especially if you've read cooking.stackexchange.com/help/be-nice
@Jefromi Just a note, I'm going to try "steamed-pudding" for things like Christmas Puddings and the more cake-like British dishes. If you can think of a better tag (they don't really exist in the US, that I know of), that's fine. Just trying to get them out of "pudding" without leaving them without a good tag.
@Jefromi HA HA. I'm a bit worried... I made a tag for dulce de leche... but I don't know if we should just stick with caramel... personally, I don't think of them as being the same thing....
The new Sexuality SE site was just closed. Apparently sex is not a popular topic on the net. Go figure.
The criteria is unclear. It looks like it was getting a reasonable amount of activity.
Close criteria are a bit of a mystery to me. Sites with little activity continue to stay up for long periods of time, c.f. History of Science and Technology, which seems to average like a question a day.
@Gigili Not especially upset. It was just a comment. In general I prefer sites stay open, of course. So if you want to ask a question, you can. And after all the effort that goes into starting up a site and building a community, it seems a waste to have it shut down.
i was walking my dog and this guy who was screaming at the air starts talking to me
i was a little bit afraid lol
then this lady, super prim and uptight looking starts chatting with me about properly picking up poop and the responsibility of dog owners to "not make a fucking mess"
i was quite shocked to hear such language from this lady
Guys, what do you think of the "question" that just poped in? cooking.stackexchange.com/questions/60019/… Spam because of that weird link? Too broad? Opinion-based? <scratching my head>
New game! Rephrase It. Finish off the start of a common phrase in an amusing way. For example: If at first you don't succeed... maybe skydiving isn't for you
