@Duga Week 1791: Computers gotten back, one. Friends met for lunch on Friday, two. Friends met yesterday for some wine and a movie, 3. @Duga's restored, one. Factorio PyBlock episodes recorded, a bunch. Work ongoing to migrate to AWS, a little bit. Minecraft plugins written, one. Biden inaugurations watched, one. Neck hurting, one. Current Covid-19 stats: 98834961 / 2122533 / 54557269. Covid-19 in Sweden: 547166 (+23680, 4.52%). Active Covid-19 cases worldwide: 42 155 159 (+1983074 in one week)
Until then, at least two new versions of Factorio has been released. Always something.
@Vogel612 Decider combinators can now use "Anything" signal as output. Not sure if it's useful for our setups yet but you can read about it here: forums.factorio.com/28946
Hmm, not sure I see the application at the moment, but I do think back to our geode provider on the seablock server which we had a bunch of problems with, so I assume it could probably be applied to that one
LTN requires 300 science, damn. And then the prerequisites... Circuit Network, 100. Logistics 2, 200. Railway, 75. Automated rail transportation, 75. So the bare minimum is 750 science packs. And then for the extra nice bonuses, Rail signals, 100. Visual Signals, 200. Another 300.
Some other comments I have of today's episode that I will not put on youtube:
When you copy-paste stuff and place inserters and the like, I believe circuits are not consumed from your inventory, they just magically appear on the ghost
Why do use two inserters per crystallizer? They are not that fast
I think you only need to research blue algae, you don't need to set it up for the geode processing
I'm not sure how much time I would be spending there myself at the moment - considering my current PyBlock run and the coding things I work on, but if people want me to host a server I can host a server.
@IvenBach @brug I have no idea where I got this video from, maybe it was even from one of you, but either way you might find it interesting in comparing Swedish healthcare and US healthcare...
