Situation: There were problems with a board production, in which components drifted towards each other in reflow.
Feedback from EMS to board fab: "There's no solder stop between the components, so they drift along their tracks, this causes fidelity problems for the customer"
Feedback from board fab: "Not our fault, there is a minimum sliver of 0.1mm in the designs and it needs to be 0.2mm"
Feedback from us: "WTF?!? 0.2mm? Are you using 1970's machinery, or what!?"
