@SEJPM personally I think that makes for bad app design, hard for them to understand the problems of the "ordinary" user if they're running v. high-end rigs
@RоryMcCune Yeah that's better. So I'd recommend a build that freitag comes up with... but you should know the drawbacks when it comes to performance and large resolutions
@RоryMcCune the devs usually run high end systems to get quicker development (don't wait three hours to see that compile finish or be able to run two game clients to test for a bug you're fixing)
In the early 1990s one could run a graphical desktop system in less than 1 MB of RAM. How comes it needs more than 1 GB, a thousand times more, to simply boot up a recent Windows?
@RоryMcCune most games scale well and they push changes frequently to the internal Q&A for feedback and confirmation of bug fixes, external Q&A is for patch / milestone / game certification
I'm not saying you're wrong. SLI isn't worth it to me... not sure about @Adi, but he should at least see both sides of the coin, and the slowdowns associated with not having SLI at that resolution
@RоryMcCune if you do maintenance, you'll have the min required specs in-house for testing (and if something is too fancy to be handled there, you drop it) and if you release a new game you can adapt the min required specs.
I made a simple mistake on a benchmark because I couldn't see the graphic that well, and it was distorted on my phone, so I don't know what I'm talking about?
ooh I've thought of a good analogy, This is like suggesting people should all drink only 40 year old Single malts, 'cause if you're a super rich whisky connoisseur they make all the difference
It's all about a smooth game play experience. You aren't even taking that into account. Your entire argument is that it isn't worth it. It isn't for you because 1) you can't afford it. 2) you aren't a competitive gamer
@Adi Unless you have an absurd custom job a decent fan will outstrip a water cooler any day. However you won't be doing a ton of high intensity stuff, so a water cooler might be a better option as it's much prettier
@Adi A water cooler has the exact same fan as a traditional cooler
@Adi They are designed to be totally sealed, they are extremely secure. If you have an issue with a malfunction then sue the manufacturer to replace your damaged hardware.
I know several people who have liquid coolers and they have had no issues.
Modern liquid coolers come pre-sealed pre-filled in a ready-to-go package. You paste the CPU bolt it on, then install the radiator and you're good to go.
Literally the only difference between the i7-6700 and the i7-6700K is there is a hardware fuse that determines whether the governor is unlocked allowing higher than 3400MHz clock speeds. Oh, and about $30.
First sorry for my fucking bad english idk if you will understand me...
I have a website with cloudflare i want to create a ip mask for my website .
eg: if i put DNS Record at cloudflare "A" and points to a mask .
Is there any way to mask my real ip ?
Thanks.
@Adi Well massive airflow is necessary when you plan to overclock the shit out of your rig. However, for regular use with a liquid cooler this will be plenty sufficient
