A hint that it's not the standard mouse-look implementation is that the mouse is not centered, but that's not very strong.

A much stronger hint is that the mouse is not fleeting within a few pixel radius of the center.

But both of these hints are only hints, a solid argument is that camera rotates on the Z axis. Anything mouse based can only give you control over X and Y rotation
