my teacher and mentor just called a freind and student in ym class, saying he has to redo the year because of 2 simple mistakes, and claims that may be the cause because he sits next to me, and that i am chaotic and all, and that they also talked negatively about me in a conversation about students... ALL BEHIND YM BACK
what a disgrace..
what do i do? tell it, all wiht his childish teaching and bullying to the headmaster, in result that my freind gets screwed by the teacher the coming year(s), or simply swallow it and try to calm down?
If anyone can shed some light on my issue that'd be great. Please don't down-vote me; I'm new to the language and the OS itself and I'm trying my best to research before asking questions, so any positivity is appreciated.
Below is an extract from a script that I've written in PHP, but contains a...
@AviD im not a little shit in class, i'm quiet, keep my balls to myself and work, and try not to fall asleep, but i guess you confuse me with some other people in my class though
im really doubting if i even want him as teacher, he doesnt explain anything, only listens to music, bullies people, and lives in the stoneage of technology
I often see RSA being recommended as a method of key exchange. However, the Diffie-Hellman key exchange method appears to be secure as well.
Is there any considerations one should take into account that would lead to using one algorithm over the other?
@TerryChia ohh big mistake. Lightining talks need way more practice than regular talks - you dont have room to clarify, and if you trip up it breaks your groove for the whole thing.
we did a back and forth, "yo momma"-style talk: Me: "This thing is great!" Him: "No, that sucks, because {A}. To fix {A}, you need to do {B}! Now its great!" Me: "No, {B} sucks, because {C}. To fix {C}, you need to do {D}! NOW its great!" etc
actually went pretty well, only had one small mess up - he accidentally agreed with me once....
I've done a dual talk a few times, only times it worked well for me is that type of pacing - attack / counterattack. And then IF it works, it can be great.
@Nick so I'm guessing that's a minecraft plugin, didn't know you wrote those in Java (although I should've really), perhaps that's why Java is having a resurgance!
List of all colleges. For each college, list of all departments. For each department, list of all professors. For each professor, list of all courses. for each course, list of all students.
@TerryChia javascript is a scripting language. not a programming language. If you only work with that you are a scriptkiddie scripter and not a developer.
@TerryChia yeah interesting, and fixed in 1.0. Another good example of why trusting virtualization/separation techniques isn't a good idea on it's own. there was a v.good response from the docker project owner on HN, basically said "don't trust docker on it's own use SELinux and other stuff as well :) "
@RоryMcCune I'm basically treating docker as a deployment method. Relying on it for isolation is stupid, there was a talk about that a couple of months back.
Anyone has a script that will fork a repo on GitHub and clone the forked repo? Asking before I spend 5 minutes writing one.
