Figured out why chat doesn't work for shit from my Firefox 20. Stackexchange doesn't implement HTTPS properly.

If it just broke, that would be fine. But a bunch of the authentication stuff just halfway breaks when you try to use HTTPS.

@JoelESalas Windows isn't the problem. Their authentication code is badly written if it breaks specifically when using HTTPS. But I've pointed out the insanity of specifically breaking HTTPS in the authentication process before but nobody there thought the need outweighed the performance benefits.

I may have just used the hot aisle of the server room as a place to hang a clothes line... which as an auditor I would have definitely been unhappy about, but as a pragmatist I'm helping to balance the humidity level.

@JeffFerland That' was pretty much the reasoning from the new guy in our department, before he got scolded...

So he went with the obvious solution: hang it up in his office, but shine a desk lamp on the thermostat, so that there's plenty of air flow.

I can just take the Commuter Rail directly there without switching trains and it takes the same amount of time as driving (probably shorter because of traffic)

The commuter rail is 1/5th of a mile from my door step as it runs directly behind my apartment.

Q: Voip, what is the best opensourse solution?

I am in to networks for quit long time but never touched the subject of VOIP. So what do you think would be the best solution with easy accessible web interface, for couple phones that can connect to the voip server, make calles to each other use the standar pstn line and also allow incoming call...

So if Centos has actually deleted netstat in favor of ss, why haven't they fixed their network interfaces scripts yet, to eliminate the abomination of aliased interfaces?

They added IPV6ADDR_SECONDARIES, why couldn't they simply add IPV4ADDR_SECONDARIES?
