I used to, every now and then, go through and read a bunch of answers from some high-rep user. I usually learned something doing it, and would vote accordingly. But yeah, can't do too many at once.

The fact that they need help is somehow bad in today's self-help society. They compensate by stating the problem and then distancing it by asking for ideas or thoughts rather than directly assigning their problem as something you have to fix.
