@badp That's the problem - it may not be a regular doing the flagging (because flags are, and should be, anonymous you can't know, but you sort of give it the benefit of the doubt)
Although really, that bit of information only is useful if you see the same person doing the same questionable kind of flagging multiple times. Most of the time I don't really look at it, so don't feel discouraged by that
@badp yeah I can see it being useful for serial-flagger detection. Conversely I'd prefer to see an algorithm doing that (like we have for serial downvotes)
It's just, when you have people that are spamming flags for shit and giggles, you really can't wait for somebody with db access to tell you who's doing what

Well. What a day it's been. I've had RL shit with British Telecom, and their totally incompetent engineers. We've had crap at work with a PBX installer, who's using a piece of shit panasonic system, and we should be using VoIP. I've got no fecking work done all day because of the sheer amount of pointless crap I've had to deal with. Do I really need a BT engineer to ask me where's best to route a cable. . He does this every day.. Just bloody deal with it.

@Shads0 I'm sure they use the loophole. The T&C sheet they send you includes the "and we can change whatever we want, whenever we want, and you can just suck it!" clause.
Any reason why you can't amend the T&C's yourself, cross out clauses you don't like and mail them back with your application and a note saying "I agree, subject to these changes enclosed"?

@MarkM Yeah. We have it easy, though. The programmers.se mods are frikkin heros of the revolution. Any time they break out the mod-hammer, it ends up on meta more often than not. That includes closed questions and deleted comments.
and honestly let's see how much of a reboot we have -- I think most of the antics (memes, etc.) will stick around, and just the more offensive ones will vanish
