Role-Playing Games is scheduled for an election next week, May 27th. In connection with that, we will be holding a Q&A with the candidates. This will be an opportunity for members of the community to pose questions to the candidates on the topic of moderation. Participation is completely volunta...
@Carcer well nomination will come next so candidates will be decided then it seems. However, it is a good question if the current elected mods will be running as well or not.
yeah I was a bit confused by that as well. I think election though is a phase the site gets put into. And that includes nomination as part of that process lol
@Ben Also no spoilers: there was one part of the episode that really poshed† me off, but other than that scene, I thought it was the best possible version of the episode we could have expected, given the diegetic constraints set by the season leading up to it.
if I didn't know better I would say I am an extreme morning person but that has seemingly extra social connotations and I prefer to be alone in the morning for a couple hours at least
While I applaud the excellent work of all our community moderators, the question has come up:
How long will be the elected moderator’s “mandate”? Is it for life, or are we going to have “moderator elections” regularly?
Of course, any community moderator who wishes to recuse him or herself c...
When we asked Stack Staff for an election to fill wax eagle's spot, we were thinking just in terms of bringing our active moderators back up to three. We didn't think about it much farther than that.
The idea of electing more than one more mod came up in comments, and Grace Note (who's the CM ta...
If you would like, I wanna figure out my Air Adept today.
I've never done this "forward planning" for multiclass before, so I could use a few tips
I am also re-reading the Wild Magic Origin. If the DM makes you roll on the Wild Magic table every time, you can effectively gain advantage a lot
> Tides of Chaos: you can manipulate the forces of chance and chaos to gain advantage on one attack roll, ability check, or saving throw. Once you do so. You must finish a long rest before you can use this feature again. Any time before you regain the use of this feature, the DM can have you roll on the Wild Magic Surge table immediately after you cast a sorcerer spell of 1st level or higher. You then regain the use of this feature.
I mean, if you use the medium armour you get from fighter, 14 Dex is all you'll ever need. On the other hand, if you're planning on attacking with it, you probably want it as high as you can get.
I suppose a lot of the "air" spells are very much about moving around, and moving others around too
And with a higher dex, con isn't as important
And if I choose the Soldier background, that might be enough of a reason as to why I'm allowed to multiclass into fighter... potentially... if I buy the gm a pizza. Lol
Just in regards to "where do you get your training from". My GM likes to have some sort of logical enough reasoning as to where you get your "training" from
I didn't find Jupiter Ascending to be really awful, but I also found it was TOTALLY not the kind of movie I went in expecting. that pleased me but it may have been a negative influence for others.
And yeah, I really like Deep Dive because they watch memetically bad films with the goal of finding things to love about them.
