I'm not doing this deliberately. I'm totally in control and don't have a drug problem, I just have a I'm slightly clumsy and keep licking the wrong container of chemicals problem.
I've decided I will not lick or eat anything out of unmarked containers or anything that is not explicitly labelled as cat food for at least 7 days, to allow my brain to settle. Because yknow, randomly dosing unknown human psychoactive substances to a cat in undiscernable amounts is not good for cats.
I think the fundamental problem is I've developed this experimental method of administering what are normally safe and useful therapeutic medicinal products in a quicker and more effective way so they work better and I don't need to take as much of them. Only there's the slight problem that it lands you in psychotic mindfuck lala land if you press the button for half second too long because the dosage and rate of administration coming out of this device is pretty much completely random and it's pretty hard to figure out how to operate it in a precise and controlled manner when the result of…
If you're not going to stop doing that, all these things will keep happening.
We cannot save you from being a dumbass. Maybe we can listen, but this isn't all that different from the time you were "vomiting apple flavoured" vomit.
@JourneymanGeek I have absolutely no recollection of ever having vomited apple flavoured vomit. Nor posting about it in here. Did that actually happen or are you making this up?
You've been posting an alarming number of messages recently reporting various serious health issues, including blacking out, and your content has been increasing incoherent recently. If you need someone to talk to, you should talk to a physician.
The fact is I managed to take a screenshot and edit and crop it appropriately to obfuscate personally identifiable information on a mobile phone and post it here, despite the fact its a huge struggle for me to figure out this retarded clusterfuck of a mobile app interface even when totally lucid and sober
I’m extremely sorry for this week and any inconvenience this has caused. I’ve been in the hospital all week due to getting robbed on Monday which resulted in me getting stabbed and smacked with a plank of wood or bat.
I’m really sorry for any inconvenience this has caused, I should have a replacement SIM card on Monday and will be using a temporary phone once that arrives. My new sim should continue with my old number.
I’ve not been able to get in touch due to my phone being stolen, along with my wallet and keys.
@JourneymanGeek want me to flag the name of TOWMN as offensive?
@MichaelFrank My fingers are good enough to use a standard DS3 controller (at least so far as Rocket League is concerned) and to play MGS V with mouse and keyboard (albeit slightly carefully)
> Notoriously inbred Royal Family of England set to add American beauty in attempt to rejuvenate gene pool, sources say.
> Genetic eradication of male pattern baldness, severe dental malocclusion, porphyria, alcoholism, and propensity for marital affairs with hideously unattractive mistresses, will likely require 40 generations to effectively breed out of royal bloodline.
Well, I know nothing of the incident, nothing of the context and I'm going to ignore history of issues in other chat rooms and assume it was a heavy-handed, nay, fascist attempt to silence the free speech and subvert the will of the people~
(anyone use Boomerang or similar for gmail? I'm software-rec looking for something to remind me to follow up emails after a period as I've had several folks not get back to me -- one who said over the phone they didn't receive the emails I sent)
I've thrown lots of money into books, trying to get started learning, and despite a clear plan for growth (read the book, work on the exercises on my own, answer question about [docker]/etc on Stack Overflow), I can't seem to actually execute on it.
If it's to help a putative career, that's a laudable goal, but it's a bit like practising the piano- it'll feel like a chore
And you're more likely to do something you like, and get more from it, than a chore
There's something to be said for iron will, and discipline and all that; but (speaking personally) I reckon it's better to work with human nature than against it
Plus reading (while important) only gets you so far
If you look up these fancy 'pyramids of learning' (or whatever their technical name is) you see that reading only gets you a small %
This is part of the reason I don't have a full-time job - because I've lacked the initiative and desire to interact with others and take action on my own.
Well, few enough to count on one hand, none of which have been successful.
I had other plans at the time, but I'm now in talks with career counselors and job placement agencies to help get my foot in the door, starting with an internship.
