@Makyen sigh someone deleted the content on both posts

@Spevacus Yep. IMO, doing so has contributed to the posts being up for 17 hours now.

this rases the question, should admins be able to cast other users flags on posts similar to autoflaging

We've always held that doing so would be effectively sockpuppetry. It's one thing to set up the system such that it will raise autoflags under specific conditions and then let things happen as posts come in. It's quite another to se a specific post and say "I should cause other people's flags to be raised on this post."

@Ethan The argument against it (which I agree with) is that at that point it's.... What Makyen said

[ SmokeDetector | MS ] Bad keyword in body (94): onclick to halt previous video and play new one‭ by user2597644‭ on stackoverflow.com

When we base autoflagging purely on stats (i.e. our 99.X% autoflagging history) it's much less sockpuppetry and much more well-thought-out-bot-doing-its-job

OTOH, there have been proposals to allow moderators to raise binding spam and R/A flags on sites other than their own. That would certainly help under many conditions, but does open up another possible method of abuse, but from a very narrow group of people.
One thing that's really needed is a clear and obvious way for site moderators to review the posts which have been deleted by red flags. We can, effectively, do so, but it's not clean and you have to go out of your way to do it.

@Laurel Yeah, me too: angry and frustrated. :( Being able to flag such posts is the reason to get all of the accounts, at least for me.
Those are gone now. Thanks everyone who raised flags and worked on them.

I've found a few posts where a user is suggesting is answering a couple questions with a mention that they're company is working on a solution, and includes a "visit our website/contact us" message. I could see it being spam. OTOH, one of those posts contains a real answer (to some degree) as well, and I'm not confident they have bad intent at all here

On second thought, I found a chat message by @Makyen that makes me think that said list is only for common-URL shorteners, so maybe that PR I made should be rejected... Anyone know our policy on URL-shorteners?
Jan 16, 2021 at 19:05, by Makyen
@VictorVosMottor No. That is not a list of all URL shorteners. If it was, then there would be thousands of additional FP. It's a list of URL shorteners which are very likely to be spam. "Popular url shortener in Russia" appears to be incompatible with at least moderately high %TP and low FP, so it doesn't sound like it's appropriate to add to that list. In general, that list is a list of URL shorteners that primarily get used by spammers, rather than regular users.
