lol
@Machavity we'll call it 'gremlins'
@Machavity No repo :(
20:01
puts @Machavity in the deep fryer for ERR:NOREPRO
I'm seeing a 201 response.
Yeah, it's back to 200s. I had 3 in a row 500 or I wouldn't bother
20:01
was it during the MS deploy i did earlier?
or long after?
The last one I hit (and verified in the console) was right before the ping
20:02
guess the system is afraid i'll light it aflame and is working again amybe? xD
It sensed your presence.
I have a few of these as well
C'mon, Smokey. Report some spam.

@Spevacus and fears my presence >:D
20:03
@Machavity That's typical.
FWIW I also was experiencing FIRE gremlins.
Of the same type described by others
@ThomasWard Could also check the rails logs, although I'm not sure where those live at the moment
Any 500s that rails returns will be in there with a trace
20:11
It's not all that unusual to see glitches of a variety of types.

@thesecretmaster true but i'm lazy so :P
The queue is now under 5000!
20:17
until it's not
:P
accidentally erases the feedbacks table OOOPSIES
shot
hahahah
@DanielWiddis woo!
I just got a 500 from that ^^ feedback I just gave, then I got a 409. Both say, in the console: "Failed to load resource." The first was internal server error, second was a conflict.
20:20
Second one might've been me being antsy and clicking a second time.
ERR:NoRepro
Let me get one for you to try.
@ThomasWard Try on this one. Any feedback will do: metasmoke.erwaysoftware.com/review/posts/89194
oh that's a new error
@Makyen i found a nice little evil error
got a 404 then a 500
20:21
then 409
hmmmmm
error_ID=error_ID+RAND()
plox gib backtrace
i don't have any o.O
o_O?
20:23
can't even find the initial 500 in the production logs
but i can definitely see my own traffic, 172.18.1.0 is an easy way to ID if it's me or not xD
thank you NAT reflection
@thesecretmaster production logs don't show a 500 error they show a "Completed"
or a 409 if sent a second time
@ThomasWard ERR:NoRepro :)
20:26
so not sure where in the MS is breaking
@Makyen that error's in admin flags
not sure you have MS admin?
Well, if MS isn't logging a 500 then it's not the one sending the 500
You should be able to grep for Completed 500 and it should come up
@ThomasWard OK. That one I do get.
Ah I think I found it
found some

there's one traceback
yep confirmed that's the 500 errors
ah
did I fail to run seeds
so it's Art's failure in both cases i'm seeing (the FIRE 500s and the Admin Flags fail)?
I don't think the admin flags is me, that was broken before this
@ThomasWard re-run whatever it was that got this? Should be fixed
20:31
thats TSM per keybase
@ArtOfCode need a new review to test it
otherwise 409s
Want me to go fish?

[ SmokeDetector | MS ] Potentially bad ip for hostname in answer (1): Is there an open-source alternative solution to HelloSign? by Nicolas Wu on stackoverflow.com
Speaking of bug. Is anybody else's review queue showing what seems to be a very wrong total number of items unreviewed? Mine is showing 827, but this query shows 3180 and there's no way I skipped that many.
@Rubiksmoose This could be my fault, and if it is, it's this code: github.com/Charcoal-SE/metasmoke/commit/…
tpu- feedback received
@ArtOfCode Could you sanity check my sql ^^
Oh I want a left join don't I
20:51
@thesecretmaster why is this not just using ReviewItem.unreviewed_by ?
Cuz it's trying to catch the edge case of someone submitting a feedback without a reviewresult being created.
Because someone said that they were seeing things they'd already feedback'd in the queue.
Jul 21 at 14:49, by Machavity
@thesecretmaster Possible low-hanging fruit is excluding things you already reviewed. I feedback on a lot of stuff and it still asks me to review them. Uhm...
oh hey I also have seen that
in the current one
hey lookit i made TSM and Art do work xD
@thesecretmaster Pushed an update to it that should work
20:56
@ThomasWard you also managed to catch the approximately once a year that both of us are free to do work at the same time
Now you've just gotta catch Undo as well :P
@ArtOfCode Are you sure you pushed? I don't see it in GH?
no, rejected
stby
@ArtOfCode you mean once an eon :P
20:57
git pull --rebase
I learned that flag pretty recently and I love it
@thesecretmaster my client doesn't have it... I have to fetch, rebase, push
Get a better git
My strong recommendation for how to use git is to use GUI clients for what they're good at and the CLI for what it's good at
they tend to mix really well due to all using the repository as a source of truth
@thesecretmaster you mean I should... git gud git
[ metasmoke ] ci/circleci success on 8bf2593: Your tests passed on CircleCI!
20:59
I personally like just using the CLI because I feel pretty comfortable with it, usually I can see all that I need to in my head.
