@JohnDvorak I can't edit that now :)
I'm watching the closing ceremony so i'm not looking at what I'm typing most of the time :)

Maybe I have 10.7k rep, Cross site I only have 654. I have just got over 10k in rep without doing anything

@JakeSymons Your badges are off too
Might be related to this stuff meta.stackexchange.com/questions/307173/… but I'm unsure how your overall rep could be affected by it, if it's about userId's

@Tinkeringbell Maybe that's to compensate for the rep. More rep = less badges?
@Tinkeringbell It says you've only got 12.6 cross site rep, but you've got more than that one just one :)

@JakeSymons Might be worth a bug report then :)

@Tinkeringbell should i do that on meta, or on the script page?

If you see mine being weird as well, I'd go with meta
But I'm no expert at that ;)

1:37 PM
@Tinkeringbell ok, see how many down upvotes it gets :)

@WELZ Are [Tag:something] not coming up in chat, they always used to is that design? Like it changes into tag format

Only rooms attached to a site, which ours is not

@WELZ But we have a screenshot!!! You didn't try hard enough XD :P

we just have to sit there and roll our eyes because it's gonna be [tag:status-declined]
@Tinkeringbell I still can't seem to reproduce this, so I'm guessing it'll get some bad rep on meta

1:41 PM
@WELZ Oh... is that how it works? My bug report did okay enough, even though I assumed people wouldn't be able to reproduce it...

I've just checked the script and it's covered in errors, so I'm going to re-install it and see what happens

@Tinkeringbell I just saw that your question was marked an exact duplicate of an (unanswered) question posted 2 days later ?!?!
@JakeSymons which script

@JakeSymons Ohh. wait a sec! You don't even have expandable usercards privileges, so yeah, then it's the script
Don't post on meta :P

@Tinkeringbell closes ask question tab
@Tinkeringbell How do you get those privs, how much rep do I need?

@WELZ Yeah, I noticed that too. Didn't feel like making a fuss out of it

1:43 PM
I'm going to ask...

@JakeSymons Nah wait, I'm messing stuff up now. Those aren't related to viewing site-wide rep I think ... I'm driving myself crazy now. What is your script supposed to do?

@JakeSymons 1,000

@WELZ Oh come one, let them have their weekend too ;)

@JakeSymons Established User

@WELZ I can already see that
But hey, early privs, I'm not complaining

1:53 PM
I've never used the expandable cards, nor did I notice the difference when I became 1k on gdse, so I'm not sure it actually does anything
If you want to see vote counts before 1k, there's an awesome userscript. See this stackapps post
I use it so that I can see vote counts on all sites lol

@JakeSymons give it a year when a bunch of abandoned questions get deleted and see edit rep nose dive

@JakeSymons The first frame pauses for 2 seconds. The user is at the top right
Besides, once you hit 2k rep, you not longer benefit from edits anyway

@K.Dᴀᴠɪs Yeah, the edit cap of 1k. I guess that's so you can't get as much rep as Jon Skeet and never answer a question :)

Jon Skeet doesn't get rep.
It's rep that seek out for Jon Skeet.

Q: Java: function for arrays like PHP's join()?

Nick HeinerI want to join a String[] with a glue string. Is there a function for this?

Aye, I've got a hacky solution, but... seriously Java?
doesn't help that I'm being mandated to use Java 7 -_-

@ArtOfCode See the second link. There is a Java 7 solution ...
Guava is Java 6+

@DavidPostill aye, there definitely is one cuz I'm using one... but it's not a nice solution

@ArtOfCode Or Apache Commons
> The simplest way is add the Apache Commons Lang library, and use ArrayUtils. addAll to join arrays. This method supports both primitive and object type arrays.

FIRE is great for obvious spam, but sometimes it's good to see the answer in reference to the question being asked (especially on SO).

@ArtOfCode It sometime doesn't load, but not really bugs, mainly I either misclick the button or @Glorfindel's point ^

@DavidPostill nice, didn't know that. Still, for some weird reason FIRE takes quite long for me to load, that's probably my main reason not to use it :)

@Glorfindel It's waiting on responses from multiple AJAX calls to MS and SE, only some of which can be fired in parallel. The requests are only fired once you mouseover the FIRE button. I'm working on making it more responsive (i.e. obtaining the data and keeping it updated, at least in part via the WebSocket). In particular, there are times when the calls to MS take a long time, and periods when those calls timeout.

Okay, observations from Shog's dump: MS has had some pretty bad clock skew (on the order of minutes), but I should be able to correct for that using true report dates from messages here.
I've pulled everything into SQL; Excel just can't handle 80k+ rows apparently
For a majority of recent posts, we seem to be dead on (0 or 1 second offset) - but there are weird outliers.
A few where Shog's dump mistakenly marks them not-deleted; looks like a bizarre interaction of question/answer deletions. Not enough volume to worry about there.
