it's a recurring theme in advance fee fraud, also known as 419 -- rich person (not necessarily from Nigeria) needs help to smuggle a fortune out of the country, and is willing to give you a healhty share for acting as the middleman so as not to bust their cover

of course, it's all a scheme to get you to pay "a small fee" to handle the first few stages, and you never see the supposed millions

another one we see here regularly is a "voodoo doctor" with a WhatsApp number in Nigeria who can cure cancer, unfavorable looks, unattractive spouse syndrome, and bad luck

Yeah, when my instance went down last time it was because the 'branch has divereged' and there were a bunch of commits to blacklist-keywords. I had to go in and manually reset all changes and pull again before it worked. I'm periodically checking git status now to narrow down the potential causes of that problem.

Okay, who wrote the comments at charcoal-se.org/userscripts/charcoal-autocomments/comments.js ?

It's come to my attention, after a discussion with a CM, that the vandalism comment needs to be changed.

For reference, this is the comment:

Please do not vandalise your posts. Once you have submitted a post, you have licensed the content to the Stack Overflow community at large (under the CC-by-SA license). If you would like to disassociate this post from your account, see [What is the proper route for a disassociation request](https://meta.stackoverflow.com/questions/323395)?

The CMs would prefer it if we don't mention disassociation in there; disassociation is only to be mentioned if they have specifically said that they want to keep the post up, but not have their name attached.

Not for every user vandalizing their post.

@Mithrandir I think ~~all~~ many of those comments came via various publicly available auto comment configurations. I have several of them in my autocomment configuration (and I can't remember where I got them from).

I'm happy to change the vandalism one if we can come to a consensus that does not mention disassociation :)
