@ArtOfCode - Is there a legitimate reason my instance would be churning through hundreds of 'New IDs / Hybrid Intermediate IDs' for a long time? It's been going for at least 10 minutes now...
I gave up trying to repair it myself. I have backups of most things, but somehow managed to leave my "development" directory out of my script. Unfortunately...that's a lot of missing stuff.
I just sent the drive out for recovery though because I need some of that stuff pretty badly
I'm still working out what my new strategy is going to be. On the one hand...this is the first drive I've ever had fail on me and my backups did work. On the other hand...I really don't want to tempt fate again.
But, now it's just waiting for the professionals to do their thing and get back to me
What do you think about watching "cyber" or maybe "cyber(?!=\W*security)" ? MS search for "cyber" gives 184t, 13f and 7n, but I'd expect more false positives from other posts.

This is a reasonable request. We don't want to be blocking new users from posting, but we also don't want to start letting in more junk. While SmokeDetector is great as identifying spam, we still would like to prevent as much of the junk from getting onto the sites in the first place.

One wrinkle here is that we can't ask users with less than 10 rep to include more than two hyperlinks. (Unless this restriction excludes links to other questions on the site? Even so, it'll be frustrating if those folks want to link to outside documentation instead.) Maybe search strings as @MartinJames suggested? — Jon Ericson ♦Oct 18 at 19:40
@JonEricson Maybe it's time to revisit the link restriction. What was it put there for, and what does it do now? If anything, allowing people to put unlimited hyperlinks in their post would make it easier for SmokeDetector and others to catch them. — Undo ♦Oct 19 at 19:17
