@Magisch I remember installing FDSC for the first time and not understanding at all how it worked with all these tokens. I just trusted that y'all knew what you were doing ...
@Magisch I've been trying to collect enough evidence to post something useful but now finally decided to write a meta post with what we have rather than hope to establish conclusive facts

there was a scientific study done on email pharma spam and even though they used hijacked computers as primary vectors the returns would have barely paid for hosting the C2 servers

^ that spammer was trying to impersonate me (Joyaba glor). Luckily, the account was nuked only 15 seconds after posting the question, which is a new personal best.

@tripleee FYI travel.stackexchange.com/a/98461/28333 I agree editing out spam links is problematic, but the answer itself looks decent enough, and if the author tries again, we'll know soon enough.

Hmm, I might toss an issue up about the pharma spam reason (cc @trip).
Essentially the reasons are 1.) increases the weight (because there would be basically 0 fps), and that's good for if we start casting a different number of flags depending on the weight, 2.) keeps a list of them and then we can help take down the sites themselves

@Mithrandir I'm all for it, the main challenge would be to isolate the ones which are properly sites of this particular gang but the ones in "repeated URL at end of long post" should be a good starting point
@Mithrandir another complication is how exactly you define "Indian pharma spammer", I don't think we want the rule to include any pharma spam (there was one in ... Chinese I think just yesterday?) but just this one particular gang / strain / whatchamacallit
@M.A.R. I'm pretty good at identifying character sets actually, just don't remember which language it was in ... the one which had Cialis in it I think?

@JoErNanO must have been a mistake, the JavaScript keyboard shortcuts sometimes focus the wrong answer somehow, or a question instead of the answer I linked to
@Mithrandir in Chrome at least there are invisible characters copied over which means yes you can paste but it doesn't produce any useful search results in Google for example
@tripleee using chrome, copy/pasting your first site (guidemesupplements.com) and putting that into the URL bar first of all goes to that site (presumably - it came up with a /what-ever/ suggestion on that site) and Googling that first result is their site
