@Sally I don't know. Probably a couple. But it's not like there were many people that would have known about it from 'circles'... I didn't probably (I'd have to check) mention anything about it outside of this room.

@Sally Disabled the website list on my local copy, copied the website list into an array in the Python REPL, looped through it and printed what still got caught.
[ SmokeDetector ] Bad keyword in body, bad keyword in title, blacklisted website in body, link at end of body, link following arrow in body: Bella Gold Serum Vitamin by Raymondothren on money.stackexchange.com…
Why the false for the stackoverflow one? " If anyone interested to learn selenium training in Chennai, please refer this website." seems promotional to me
@Ferrybig because it was answering the question with a link.. I think the problem was the question, but it's closed now
@SmokeDetector k
@Ferrybig because most answers like that are essentially saying the same thing and if the question invites that type of answer.. well I don't think we can punish the answerer. does that makes sense?
@Ferrybig I did think of marking it as spam, but I tend to be harsh with spam and actually thought I should be less harsh this time.
I agree it could've been spam, but then, if the user is genuine, it saves all the rigmarole later of a potential complaint, if they are a spammer, they will either post more spam or never post again. either way it's gone
@MsYvetteǝʇʇǝʌʎsW It was indeed borderline, the only reason I would have marked it as spam would be that the website they where linking to doesn't provide information, and only payed classes
As far I know smokey doesn't check the comments, there isn't even a way to report spam in the comments as !!/report 'doesn't accept comment links. Checking the comments would mean more api calls, and better update times.
We can look into including the words "emergency roof repair" in the blacklisted word list. We now have proof of how this kind of spam looks, we only need to find a way to catch it
Or we could limit users ability to comment on their own question if no other person has commented
A way to catch these kind of posts is removing all non-letters from the body and the title, and see if both match. SOmething like: re.sub(r'[^A-Za-z0-9]', '', post.title) == re.sub(r'[^A-Za-z0-9]', '', post.body) is my google skill to discover how python works is enoguh
