[flag] would go through the API and cast a flag using their account, and send a tp back to Smokey. It'd be two-way communication, but we could do it.

Heck, poll if we need to. Although I suspect websockets wouldn't be too hard.

[fp] would do what it says on the tin.

This would also require making the request to metasmoke before posting to chat. Shouldn't add more than a quarter second, absolute max, to report times. But it might make things that much more complicated.

Strike the metasmoke request before posting; we can just do the URL thing.

That does sound complicated. Suppose, I prefer flagging directly on the site (because it gives more context, sometimes there is edit history, I can look at user profile, etc). So I wouldn't be logged in and be redirected to the site. And... still no "why" explanation from MS.
