@JeffSchaller yeah no, I purely based this on the fact we use it in our company as a professional tool
@CodyGray Yeah I can never delete from the flag dashboard. Not knowing the full context makes deleting things feel wrong. Thanks for this! It looks great. Are there any other scripts that aren't listed on the Mod Team that you find to be invaluable? I've got a few at this point but I'm not afraid to improve my arsenal.
@CodyGray Yes my diamond is freshly-sprouted. I'm sure, over time, I'll become just as jaded (I do mean this in jest) as the rest of you (though perhaps not the SO mods... y'all have dealt with some wildstuff)

@Cow Yeah, that's going to be tough -- with 480+ on-site hits and 41 TP in MS, I'm pessimistic about finding a better watch (or altogether different regex). That said, I'm in support of the general idea of removing FP and improving TP, so if you feel like doing the research and we can tweak the existing regex to either improve TP (without losing any) or reducing FP (again without losing TP), that's an honorable goal!

@Spevacus Yes, this one is very much designed to allow handling flags in-context, because that's the only way I do stuff. But I think it's useful even for mods who work in other ways. It's much closer to what I think should be the built-in UI. Works for post flags, too, by adding a banner on top of the post. There's an option for making that banner sticky or not sticky. (Not sure how comfortable you are with JS and can understand the options at the top of the code. I can explain more, if you'd like.) Also has some other neat features, like context-sensitive canned accept/decline reasons (mostly customized for my use, but I'm happy to talk about modifying them and/or adding others), context-aware single-click buttons (like for clearing/disputing all red flags), and even a magic 8-ball to predict where a question is being requested to be migrated to (probably not useful for an MSE mod).
@SmokeDetector Ah, it is the same company. App listed here: marketplace.atlassian.com/search?query=stiltsoft

@Spevacus There probably are some other extremely useful scripts, but I've been away from the site for a while, and not gotten back to actively using scripts. This means both that I don't have the names in front of me, and that some of them may be broken and in need of updates after changes to the site. The three that immediately come to mind are: (1) one by Henry Ecker (a spiritual successor to older ones by Sam Liew and myself) that customizes the page for sending mod messages to a user to add additional custom templates and some other tweaks. (2) My Super Shotgun which adds buttons above questions allowing single-click closure and deletion (not tested in a good while, so might need some bug fixes). On MSE, probably most useful for easily nuking off-topic questions. Also useful for tag cleanups, etc. Reasons might need to be customized (mostly designed for SO originally). (3) My custom fork of Sam's AdditionalInlinePostModMenu, which adds a bunch of one-click links for doing mod stuff underneath posts (where the normal "Edit", etc.) links are. I was in the process of polishing this for release when the strike came along. I haven't gotten back to it. Sam's may not work anymore; haven't tried. This one is more of a tease at the moment. May get back to it soon, because I found it super convenient. There are many more, though. As you might imagine. Sam had a giant repo of them. I've done a bunch of work on scripts. Makyen has a bunch, and some of them he has even found time to release. :-)
@Cow You jest, but... I definitely used multiple scripts like this... One for questions, and one for users. I hope to get those out and shake the dust off soon.
But yeah, like Cow's joke, a lot of the scripts I found to be most helpful were the ones that did provide a one-click nuke. And… while that's definitely super helpful for an active, experienced SO mod, they're also dangerous, so not good starter scripts. The Flags ToC doesn't actually do anything dangerous and is designed to work more like what a good built-in UI would do, so a much better starter script. I would recommend it for any mod, honestly. The other stuff is specialty.

@CodyGray Thanks a bunch for these. I'll do some experimenting at some point and get back to you with any issues/feedback/annoyances. The inline post menu's one I was hunting for, so thanks for that! I use the Saviour of Lost Souls script (which I THINK you might already use?) for the super off-topic questions, which does require 2 clicks (I don't mind a confirmation for it tbh), but is mod-friendly and insta-closes, comments, and deletes.

@CodyGray The Flags ToC is great. Thanks a bunch for it. I'll probably end up making the panel sticky at the top, but other than that I quite like it.
Side note: Sam was great. I was sorry to see he'd left.

@JeffSchaller this is unfortunately above my regex knowledge :D

@Cow Yeah, me neither on that one.
The answer has nothing to do with the question either.
14:52
No problem! It's hard, especially with those larger numbers. It's ok, in the big picture, to have some low percentage watches, as long as they're catching some tp.
@Spevacus Sam also has a non-inline variant of that one, which IIRC adds a button or other ornament to the margin that you hover over to get a pop-up menu of the same options. I hate pop-ups like this, or in general anything that jumps around on the screen, so I did not like this version. The "inline" version was created by Sam at my request, and I continued to refactor it on my own. Like I said, I hope to get back to that soon. We shall see. I do not use "Saviour of Lost Souls". I hate the comments it leaves. Super Shotgun does everything it can do, plus more to facilitate tag cleanups and stuff like that.

@JeffSchaller I trust you
@CodyGray I'm not entirely thrilled about the comment it leaves either. Specifically, linking to pages in the help center but then after that saying "Okay but go there on the TARGET site that you think might be a good fit" is confusing.
@Spevacus I think stickiness and floatiness (?) is the default. Easy to test both by executing localStorage.setItem('flaaaaags.sticky', true) (or false) in the console and then refreshing. Same for all of those options there at the top of the script. Glad you like it. Again, happy to hear feedback, especially from a non-SO mod.

@Cow You don't have to actually write the regex yourself. If you can describe what it should do in words, in terms of what things it should exclude to tighten up the accuracy, then that's still a useful contribution.
I'm afraid I don't know the whole story, and to be fair, it's probably better that way. He's missed. I hope he's doing well.

@CodyGray Ok let me put it this way then, looking through all these tps and fps to see what the differences is.. it's too much for me :)
@Spevacus Yeah. My dislike goes beyond nitpicks about the wording of the comment. I don't really want to be sending people who are that confused to any other site to ask a question, unless maybe it's Quora. Plus, and maybe this is my SO big-city bias, but I just don't like noisy comments. There's already a big blue banner explaining why the question was closed. Why do you need a comment? Pointless.
