@SmokeDetector fp- This is definitely a valid answer. I should have been more careful when reporting this.

@cigien Links to the same repo though, so it's an understandable mistake.

Yeah, I did a search for the user with the repo name, and it showed up as 7 answers. I checked only 3-4 of the latest ones, saw they were all link-only promotional, and just reported all of them.
Is there mod tooling to just delete posts from a user's profile, or does it require navigating to the pages to delete them?

[ SmokeDetector | MS ] Link at beginning of answer (35): Map matching links and ideas? ✏️‭ by Arthur McFlint‭ on gis.SE

@SmokeDetector Hmmm... that's notably higher site limiting than I've generally seen when testing. OTOH, I've been using a 2 CPU based EC2/lightsail instance for testing, while Osiris is substantially more capable, which is also reflected in the "High CPU" numbers which are much lower than I see in testing. In other words, in my testing, the SD instance is substantially more likely to be CPU bound during the times when it might be launching more scan threads than it is to have enough CPU available to launch the threads. The limit on number of threads per site is something which we should consider making adjust based on the capabilities of the machine on which the SD instance is running. The limit on per-site scan threads is intended to prevent one site, particularly SO, from largely dominating the threads which are launched. Interestingly, having SO have a queue depth limit of something other than 1 also gives SO a priority for threads to be launched when there are enough posts queued to exceed the threshold. That probably also skews the threads launched per site data.

@cigien Mods can undelete and edit if need be.
As for deletion itself, that's on a per-post basis.

@cigien For deleted users, yes. For non-deleted users, no.

[ SmokeDetector | MS ] Potentially bad asn for hostname in answer, potentially bad ns for domain in answer, potentially bad keyword in answer (3): Is there a list of test IMEI numbers somewhere?‭ by Antonio Duran‭ on stackoverflow.com

@SmokeDetector I suspect this is their website, because 1) this in no way answers the question, and 2) they've previously asked how to build IMEI validation, which is what that website does (or claims to do, it seems to have some issues).

@Mast Ok, thanks (both). That's good to know.

9:48 PM
@cigien There's nothing that will do that in the stock UI, so navigating to each post page is necessary. It is, however, possible to delete posts from the user's profile pages using userscripts.

@Makyen Ah, I see. Sounds like something to be careful with, as is the case with many mod tools, I suppose.

10:04 PM
@cigien Yes, it also depends on which userscript tool you use. The primarily one I was thinking about provides a view of the post in a popup on the page and allows normal interactions with the post. Using it saves having to open the post in a new window, but still gives the context of the post (although, currently, not the context of the post within the question page, i.e. not all the other posts on the page, and is missing some mod-specific details which SE only provides in the full page).

@Makyen which one would this be? that sounds potentially useful.

@RyanM It's currently unreleased, but, yes, I find it quite useful and am looking forward to actually releasing it, finally. There's a couple of things which really need to be adjusted prior to release (and at least one which I'd like to adjust prior to release).

Being able to see the text of the post certainly mitigates the concern with being able to delete from the profile page. I was imagining just an additional delete button next to the title of each post, which I guess isn't particularly safe.

10:28 PM
@cigien There are, relatively rare, cases where that is a very desirable feature. However, I'm not aware of anything along those lines being implemented and integrated with the UI.
