@tripleee Lol
@SmokeDetector Hm... kinda rude.. Haven't flagged yet... The user seems to have normal contributions without this link
@SmokeDetector fp- I will suggest an edit

8:04 AM
@tripleee Is that a negative lookahead? What does that match exactly? Is the capture group supposed to be optional there?

it's not capturing anything, it just says don't match if the tail is ... that
so we have one match for the domain name and one for the same word in every other context

Oh, I see. So that would catch the username as well?

it's superficially a complication but we tend to do that because the domain name is going to end up in a separate blacklist and it's convenient to have the ducks lined up for that use case
@cigien yeah, watched keywords are applied everywhere

Ok, cool. I didn't know we did that, I must have not seen examples of it yet. Thanks, I'll keep that in mind.

I don't want to undelete those in order to report them.

8:32 AM
@metasmoke Shouldn't this tpu have blacklisted the user?

@cigien it would have, yes

Oh, so addblu doesn't complain if the user is already blacklisted?

there is no error if you !!/addblu something which was already blu

Ugh, that command is so irritating.

Interesting. It looks like a reference. Why is the link almost hidden though?

Hmm
I actually clicked on the link now, and I don't think it's a reference.
It is unrelated to the answer.
I bet they copy-pasted the actual text of the answer from elsewhere.
I've changed my feedback.

@CodyGray the answer is still deleted and the user looks nuked to me
wait, does it just show a plaque instead of the real profile on deleted posts? user profile looks fine

@tripleee I can't bring people back from the dead.
They created a new profile.
I kept the answer deleted because they can't edit it into shape.

ah so "account", "user", and "profile" are distinct?

Kinda sorta, yeah.
The original account/profile was suspended and removed. But the actual human user came back and recreated it, which meant that the system automatically applied the suspension from their previous account/profile. But they were still able to reply to the moderator message that issued the suspension.
So, if "user" refers to a human, that's a separate entity. "Account" could refer to the network-wide SE account, or it could also refer to the metadata that SE uses to track an account, which allows future profiles to be associated with the same account.
