@ThomasWard Yeah, there's something that's causing MS to go into a CPU-load death spiral. It would be quite nice to figure out what's causing it and fix it. While there do appear to be some noticeable symptoms that occur prior to it's death (e.g. increasing rate of random timeouts to API queries, MS HTML pages breaking, etc.), it's consistently happened at times Undo has not been around, and once MS is locked up, Undo hasn't been able to get access to the "running" system w/o resetting it.
I don't have enough experience with different database implementations to be able to say. Some of the reasons to switch to MariaDB was that it uses PCRE for regex searches and it's regex searches are much faster than what was being used.
