Well,
that one's indeed the most rolled back post.
And this even greater self vandalism rollback war.

I don't really understand why people keep going

Self-vandalizer keeps vandalizing by rolling back.

it was mostly about formatting.. really?

@iBug so? just leave the vandalised post sit there and flag for attention.

12:48 PM
This one is 100% rollback involving only 2 users (except the first revision and the last mod rollback, of course).
@JarkoDubbeldam If a mod were present then the war would have stopped.
And more interesting if it involved more users.
There is even a solo player, LOL.

@iBug look at the timestamp.. maybe a bad bot?

@SurajRao Anyway it's quite amusing.

@Glorfindel may not be 100% accurate; use the SE API if that's what you need.

Why do people davka (specifically) downvote questions on the hot list (like questions that suddenly get tons of upvotes)... I see this all the time with questions, they suddenly get a lot of attention and a few people just dv it (for now apparent reason)

Because they feel that it got too much attention and are trying to counter it?

7:57 PM
@Mithrandir perhaps, but for like -2/+50 they definitely don't counter the rep, and even the votes, still pretty high

the what now

In probability theory and statistics, the cumulative distribution function (CDF, also cumulative density function) of a real-valued random variable X, or just distribution function of X, evaluated at x, is the probability that X will take a value less than or equal to x. In the case of a continuous distribution, it gives the area under the probability density function from minus infinity to x. Cumulative distribution functions are also used to specify the distribution of multivariate random variables. == Definition == The cumulative distribution function of a real-valued random variable X is the...

which is why it looks like that

@Magisch the smoke will be detected regardless of your general opinion about the detection of smoke

@ArtOfCode how can I disable that clamp?

@quartata you can't without having a local instance

9:38 PM
I suspect the actual important tail is getting cut off like this

@Magisch take it to TMS

aight

@quartata for the purposes of that graph we only care about anything 90%+

@quartata well, it does look like there's slightly more going on than a simple binomial CDF

8 mins ago, by quartata
although not all spam checks are independent obviously
but it might not be that if the accuracy is getting clamped like Art said
I just saw the shape and was like "well that'd make the most sense"

9:43 PM
If you actually graphed accuracy vs. weight it'd look quite a lot different I suspect

Speaking of spam check independence: a good improvement to autoflagging would be some mechanism to lower the weight of reasons that are correlated with other reasons the post was caught by
The most common autoflag FP I've been seeing is the non-Latin reasons getting double caught
e.g. chinese character in title + non-Latin

one downside is that the AI might teach itself that "misleading link in body" is indicative of a good question :P

@Mithrandir I'd leave it, honestly. I suspect what happened was he found a new thing that he bring the revolution of AI to, tried to do it despite being told that it's harder than it sounds, didn't work out as well as he hoped and we were asking for more implementation details than he was bothered to figure out.
tl;dr: this stopped being a shiny new thing, so he moved on
if he's not interested any more, trying to get him to come back and be interested is counter-productive

@Mithrandir what's the Wayback Machine?

The Wayback Machine is a digital archive of the World Wide Web and other information on the Internet created by the Internet Archive, a nonprofit organization, based in San Francisco, California, United States. == History == The Internet Archive launched the Wayback Machine in October 2001. It was set up by Brewster Kahle and Bruce Gilliat, and is maintained with content from Alexa Internet. The service enables users to see archived versions of web pages across time, which the archive calls a "three dimensional index". Since 1996, the Wayback Machine has been archiving cached pages of websites...

> As of July 2016, the Wayback Machine reportedly contained around 15 petabytes of data
Holy crap

> A single copy of the Internet Archive library collection occupies 30+ Petabytes of server space (and we store at least 2 copies of everything).

Maybe some of you programmers would know this... if you search on google calculator you can also just use this neat calculator, on this specific computer, the calculator has been pretty much function-less for me, it shows up, just I can't click on any of the buttons (with my mouse) - the css still works when I hover over a button, but I can't click on anything.
