Yes. Some mods don't get the "spam = abusive" thing.

Oh, that's disappointing...

What should the meta question be? "I got a declined flag because of a userscript we use. Should I stop using it until the two flags are finally officially merged"?

That one I can answer. There isn't complete agreement on SO even over whether gibberish is red-flaggable.
@JanDvorak "So seriously guys, what red flags can be used where?"

@Undo Well, the wording was changed several times so that gibberish would fit, and Shog said it fits

I wouldn't bring the userscript into it at all. Distracts from the point

10:03 PM
Might wana mention Pops' Coke vs Pepsi / Pepsi vs Pepsi message

@JanDvorak Not everyone's seen that, though.

@Undo then I expect "it's not spam, so flag as abusive" while flagging as abusive is not an option.

As would I
Whenever you've got 20+ people of varying levels of activity, you're gonna have weird little disagreements like this

Ideally mods would catch up with the official ruling using their secret room.

Ideally

10:06 PM
At least I'd like there to be such a thing as official ruling.

Indeed

@Undo meh
That means: you're right, but we're slowly getting where we need to be.

What is the best way to flag gibberish, abuse and vandalism (respectively) now?

Rude/abusive, according to the help center
Wait, that was the wrong link.

What the heck?

Q: What if I see someone doing something bad?

Glorfindel... like messing up the Help Center? What if I see someone doing something bad? I have a log file being written by another process which I want to watch for changes. Each time a change occurrs I'd like to read the new data in to do some processing on it. What's the best way to do th...

I really like CakePHP. Similar to Rails and pretty lightweight

@Glorfindel What the heck?

Bahahaha

Did Stack Exchange hire a GitLabs employee to manage the databases?

is it still bad if it's Jeff doing it? (semi-tongue-in-cheek)

@Cerb re SE API auth: enable client side auth flow, and there's a redirect URI on SE.com that you can use

I've figured out a redirect back to the chat. It then checks for the key in the hash, saves it, and closes the new window
Basically: got it to work :-)

At least the Stack Overflow help links are on topic. This one on Chess SE seems to be taken from Graphic Design SE ....

TL;DR: the topicality rules across StackExchange are even muddier today than usual.

Yay! Token works, each authenticated user now has their own API quota :D
In case loading all SE sites once per week becomes an issue ;-)
(Authentication is optional)

Good. Now make flagging abuse safer by using the correct flag type :-)

Meaning I'd have to add a separate button :-/

Someone requested a "this is edited" icon? :P

The Autoflagging wiki should probably be updated with the current flag count.

... oh. I didn't notice the pencil icon.

@Cerbrus can you put the why block above the post text, so I don't think it's part of the post?
@JF can you not do that yourself?
or did someone protect it

The question is more interesting than the why block and should be above

@ArtOfCode It's on my todo, this was easier :P The why block is hidden by default, opens when you click the "Question:" text

@ArtOfCode I can do it. Should I just delete the quote box?

@JF whatever's appropriate, I haven't seen it in some time

Done

FIRE has been updated to add some SE API features. (For now, only post edit status). You can also authorize FIRE with your SE account now, for a rather massive API quota :D
