@Andy to be fair, there's probably plenty of code we could do that to in Smokey

Probably

like gitmanager.py L66-67

Hi Felix

I have got you spam complaint. I made the posts, and they where not meant as spam. However I see your point and it has been taken into consideration.

wat

From the website we nuked 6 posts this morning of and blacklisted
backupbird.com
@ArtOfCode I had a hunch that they were willing to listen to reason, so I contacted them via their contact us form and told them to stop replying link only with product advertisements to questions on SE
@ArtOfCode Had nothing to do with smokey (I didn't mention it either) but maybe we can take them off the blacklist

@ArtOfCode Sometimes, when I can see that companies have an online presence with a "contact us" form, and they're small enough that I could reasonably get through to the CEO or at least CTO, I tend to message them and tell them to cut it. It has worked a couple of times already.

@angussidney Permit me to say that every revision you need to bump the version number.
because that's missing from your "fix" to #10
so the updates aren't getting pulled in

@DJMcMayhem Nah, people of high order have BL ABILITIZ™

@ArtOfCode or any other committer, if you could bump to 1.4.2 thanks to the minor fix for github issue #10 on the UserScripts repository that'd be great.

ferry, I have a PR open

@DJMcMayhem API requests are queue'd per site to reduce the number of calls we make
Each site has a different queue limit based on past history of spam

Is there one API quota or one per site? If the number of "events" is an order of magnitude smaller than the API quotum per site, queuing makes no sense.
(for that particular site)

5:27 PM
@Glorfindel SE global API quota of 10k a day

OK, too bad.

There is indead a api queue per site, the queue is shown in the output of !!/queuestatus command above

I think he meant quota

CI on e451d9a succeeded.

@Magisch I actually said quota :)

What does being a member of the github charcoal organization entail?

Balloons and noise makers.

stupid question but is there a list of people with PR-accept rights on all the Charcoal repos? Including the userscripts one?
whelp nevermind that answers my question :)

@ThomasWard, can you see github.com/orgs/Charcoal-SE/teams/core

@ThomasWard https://metasmoke.erwaysoftware.com/users The poeple with "Code admin" have push rights No longer true

5:34 PM
@Andy E: 404 Nonexistent or Non-Accessible

@Magisch The right to look cool while flagging spam.

@Ferrybig Not true
I have code admin but no push rights

@Ferrybig I can eventually determine who has rights by watching who accepts PRs :p Thanks for accepting the very very minor PR I just submitted - now the fix from angussidney should get in, lets hope it doesn't break anything :)

5:47 PM
@ThomasWard it varies based on the repo
well, actually by what teams have been given access to the repo

There are two people who can always process PR's, anywhere - Undo and me.

well that's a given, I was more or less trying to get the FDSC version bumped because it didn't get done when that fix for the 'false positive' button problem yesterday
going to test it "soon" (when i'm less bored busy)

The Core team usually have write access to every repo and can process PR's - that's me, Andy, Ferry, hichris, Manishearth, ProgramFOX and Undo
The SmokeDetectors team gets write access to the SD repo (that's Kyll, Ashish, and angus)
The Userscripters team gets write access to the Userscripts repo (angus)
@Magisch gets you code access, not much more

@ArtOfCode Hmm
Looks cool though
