@daleif I had no problem installing it. I think the secret is to religiously follow the tutorial available in the site. :) I think the critical part is the bootloader, but after that, everything looks quite easy. I installed from a Linux machine.

@daleif: I think your Nexus will get a nice boost by installing Cyanogen.

Kile is configured to run arara via a shortcut, though I often use pdflatex directly for examples I use on this site and arara for my own stuff. (Except when I have errors because running pdflatex directly is easier in that case.)

Hi. Does anyone know of a way to turn a PDF file created by LuaLaTeX into something that appears to be an Acrobat file? The stupid government website that I need to upload a file too claims that my PDF isn't a PDF...

Q: How can I use Dragon NaturallySpeaking to write LaTeX math formulas by voice efficiently?

Question posted on Quora: http://qr.ae/LuyQd since it's on hold here... I write LaTeX documents by voice using Dragon NaturallySpeaking for speech recognition. It allows me to write much faster than if I had to type on a keyboard (~ 100 WPM vs. 50), I find that voice commands are easier to rem...

I've voted to repoen. I think this is really quite appropriate for the site.

@DavidCarlisle Thanks. It might also be helpful to upvote my and barbara's comments. The default way that comments are displayed will hide them until they get as many votes as some of the 'close' comments.

@MaryStar Since most people are used to narrower margins and an slightly larger font size, you may want to use 11pt as the size and the geometry package to change the margins a bit.

@MaryStar And if you have some requirements that the line spacing be 'double spaced' or similar, you should use the setspace package to do that.
