@Frank Though admittedly, I've recovered. The last 3 were doing 'platinum' customer support calls for supporting reporting software involving customized Java & Javascript.
Customers don't like it when you point out to them in front of a conference of techs and executives, "The reason why your reporting system is down is that you customized it."
And then it comes to eng as "well, there's a $20M contract riding on you implementing <feature which eng was not every consulted about and which may, in fact, violate the laws of physics and/or boolean logic>"
@MadMAxJr you also included the part where, before this even happened, developers were made aware that this was a feature someone might want, and said it would be possible to implement someday if they got the green light
I also left out the part where the exec calls the support manager to cry 'Your technician made me look bad by pointing out we never implemented feature X. Discipline him."
Them: "Why haven't you made all 20 apps we expected of you?" Me: "Well you see I'm only an intern who isn't even done school, I don't know what I'm doing"
@Sales "It totally does X." # sales has no idea if it does X or not, or possibly even knows it doesn't do X but figures eng can probably make it do X, right?
@MadMAxJr My workplace gets one of those. I warn them that it was not our responsibility, and we are not accountable to the salespeople. If they ever try to pin the blame for a feature that was not in the requirements on us again, they can find a new developer.
If you're really lucky, X is (a) possible to implement (b) with the current staffing and funding (c) on the required timeline (d) without derailing other, more important projects
One of the Trainer Tips in Magikarp Jump says something to the effect of, "Once your berries are upgraded to a certain point, you may get support candies". I noticed that at level 25 you get one support candy upon the 25th upgrade, but the tip suggested to me that you might get them at random or...
The workaround is predictably dumb and involves you manually setting the From address the first time before it'll show up in the drop-down

@GodEmperorDune Yeah, but this is someone pestering me to have support@company.com behave as support@company.atlassian.com and treat inbound email as new tickets
@GodEmperorDune I can! But that means either continuing to maintain the group in GSuite (lol that rename is still silly) or paying for another license for Office 365
Which tbh is like chump change but it feels wrong
Shared Inboxes below 50 GB don't require a license but afaict you also can't log in directly as them...except I do this at XYZ so hmmm maybe you can?

What are the best Overwatch Characters to play as in the PS4 version of the game? I usually play as either Genji or Widowmaker but people tell me thats not a good idea. I don't want to play as Junkrat or Bastion since they are noob characters.
The original Minecraft is too much for my poor laptop. Do you people know wich of the following is the lighter?
Windows 10 Pocket version
