@badp Except you're comparing the main site to the Discord. The Discord channel is an unofficial service we use for fun, it isn't serious business, and all folks have been doing is renaming room. If someone was getting really pissy about that, then that's really an issue that someone is getting frustrated over something which isn't worth stressing over. We've basically just been figuring out wht we want to do with discord as we went along, because it's not some super official srs business

I get that someone was pissed about that and called out @badp like a big jerk, but the problem is that person. They should have did...well, probably what @badp did and be like "hey @alldiscordmods, can we stop renaming rooms" and we'd be like "why?" and discussion.

If it happened, everyone would be able to date anyone they want, dress whatever way they want etc., that'd kill "genders" as we know it too, only biological genders would be a thing (and called "genders"). As that is not going to happen and most of those people feel like they don't belong to their biological gender's stereotype (and they feel like they fit in the other stereotype more), so they decide to be "transgender".

Of course that is very abusable (to enter the other gender's bathroom, for example), but that is not the only thing that can be abused.

So might be considered a bit offensive here, but does knowing that other people in the bathroom might be homosexual make you more comfortable than knowing that there are some that might be woman that feel like men (or other way around)? You aren't already pleased, why not allow some people to get to your level if you aren't going to lose anything?
