Q: What is the default multiplayer limit for Terraria?

In the Steam version of Terraria, what is the limit of players you can have join a game and play together? When I go to host a game, I don't really see any settings or anything that would tell me how many people can join.

We have a matriculation number that uniquely identifies us, which we use when turning in homework and exams

Then we get another ID, which we use to log into most IT systems, and is also our email address

Except there's a bunch of systems that don't accept this, like the library, which somehow uses an unique PIN, which everybody forgets because nobody ever uses it

The worst I had to deal with in undergrad was we had these goofy clicker things. You were supposed to take them with you to lectures and then the professor could easily take attendance and ask quiz questions during lecture while you voted on them.

And then the School of Computing has it's own credentials for logging into its servers, which host the printing and server resources for the faculty's own students

And finally the finance and undergraduate affairs department has a set of credentials keyed to our matriculation numbers

It was kind of a neat idea. They tied it into our university ID number. Unfortunately, these clickers can't handle leading 0s in the user field, whereas our university IDs can (and mine had two).

That was a fun problem to solve when I was told I didn't attend a single lecture.

I had a class I didn't attend the lecture because it was really boring and dry but the other section posted their full lectures online so I just watched those.

Almost every single lecture in school is recorded and webcasted

It's not particularly pleasant to watch because the video seem to be recorded at 10fps

But if a lecturer has a reputation for being boring you the player has a handy fast forward button

I know some of my friends never go for any of the lectures in some modules, and instead just watch it over the internet at 2x speed

It's okay if the lecturer is using a slidedeck, but for some, like the calculus module where the lecturer writes equations live on screen, the result is pretty unwatchable

I do like the fact that they replaced almost all whiteboards with touchscreen with stylus

Because the lecturers can take all the stuff they wrote, save them, then upload it for reference

Even with just the base game, you get a bunch of parts thrown at you, and all that differentiates them are a bunch of tiny numbers that are really meaningless at this point

And then there's the fact that the parts are scaled differently. I remember there being a part which looked exactly the same in the selection window, but each was 2x the size of the previous one when dragged out

@PrivatePansy Oh, you meant actually configure the firewall. I was understanding that to mean to just use it to prevent the packets getting in in the first place. My bad.
