I can convert prisoners into Netherworld Citizens. There are multiple quests that ask you to add them. But nothing explains what there purpose actually is. It just says they give several benefits.

one uses a chipset that still only supports ddr3, whereas the other is ddr4

ddr3 is gonna be phased out in a couple years, so if I build a new PC in 5+ years, I won't be able to reuse the ddr3 memory

performance wise, 6600k is couple percent faster than 4690k

the motherboard required for 6600k also has newer features than one for 4690k

luckily, I have a nice keyboard, mouse and speakers already, so that's gonna cut couple hundred out of the price

144hz is supported by almost any game that's not fps locked

which is like, almost all 3d games

skyrim is a famous example where the physics engine blows up at 144hz though

Never really looked beyond 60fps, didn't think there was any substantive gains going higher

144hz pretty much eliminates screen tearing as well, because it refreshes so fast, you don't really notice it

I haven't seen it in person, but everyone I know that uses a 144hz swears by it

and there's blind tests on youtube of 144hz users that can tell the difference between 60hz and 144hz with 100% accuracy

Which works fine for pretty much everything.

v-sync is an issue if you can't do constant 60 fps though

if it drops below 60 fps, v-sync limits your fps to 30

144hz is especially great in fps games

the only reason I'm not getting a 144hz yet is because almost all of the 144hz monitors are TN panels and the ones that are IPS are like 600+ dollars

and I'm not ready to dish out 600+ dollars on a monitor when the prices on monitors have been dropping really fast in last couple months

For some reason I had a craving to play FFX runner and I couldn't get it to work either

it just pops a warning every time a unity plugin is run
