@Batophobia I found the fastest way to level up is getting 10 or 25 of a hero, buy the 1/2 upgrades and then move on to the next hero, then once you have moved a couple of heroes down you can go back and buy more of the old (now cheap) heroes to get there upgrades if they give you some kind of added bonus (ability, inc damage for all heroes, crit or 0.5% of dps dmg pr click)

Action is already being taken regarding that question.

Q: How does Ascending work?

The next upgrade I am likely to get is "ASCENSION" for Amenhotep. The mouseover text on the ability says it restarts the game and gives a single hero soul. Does anything else cross over (heroes, gold, achievements, etc.)? When would be the best time to Ascend? Should I wait until I unlock all...

But if you are going for a long haul I can see that being a good shift as you need the cash to increase your DPS

@James Idk about you, but single skill won't let me progress, so resetting a dps skill does nothing for me

I am leveling to a point Specifically to Ascend, not interested in the later goals until I can get to level 100 in like 10m :D

And for Arqade, we like to make titles as outrageous as possible while still describing the issue

whereas the extra cash will give me more hero levels until I wait for all skills to reset

well as far as I can see it

@James up to level 200 I kill 2 bosses with single skill spam anyway

@JasonBerkan I can get to level 60-70 right now in about 10-15min after an ascension

I do not see why I can not push to get that to level 100 :)

I just idle between bosses for my skills to get off cooldowns

@James I haven't ascended yet, but it took me 3 days to get to level 100 the first time. Though I'm "playing" it by ignoring it except at the beginning of the work day and the end.

if I need more dps, I'll use reload on super clicks and wait for crit buff to come off cooldown
