New questions regarding the above posted after the aforementioned date may need to be con...
never dealt with any of those so can't say . . . I'd expect something related to graphics driver to mess up lightdm. Happened once to me. But none of those seem like they could interfere with lightdm
Probably not . Try posting a question on askubuntu first , provide all the info we've covered, and maybe someone who knows more about Intel graphics cards will be able to help
I was able to figure out the cause of this problem I was having Unable to boot Ubuntu 14.04. The X server is refusing a connection. I was able to boot by pressing shift continuously and I was able to boot but it does not open the graphics display of Ubuntu trusty.
I tried sudo service lightdm r...
@gansub already have edited. Very well . If nobody posts an answer in couple days, come back to chat and let me know. I'll put bounty on your question to attract more attention
I'm watching Japanese vines on youtube. I like how some japanese girls have this deep voice laugh , kinda reminds me of my classmates back in high school. They were cantonese though
Youtube you hairy censored, stop autoplaying stuff even though i press cancel !!!
@gansub big chunk of those in the answer should be installed already . Also, note whatever says i386 is for 32-bit OS, if you have 64 bit you will probably need to premove :i386 part
Oh, i was looking up on google libimf.so , and on some mailing lists and forums it was suggested that it's intel-specific library . Intel forum also had mention of it
Cansomebody explain why am i drinking cofee at 2:50 am ?
@Serg yes your indicator was very useful for answering that question... and if/when the indicator is finished I will link to it there... but actually it doesn't work to run it like that, it makes a broken icon unless I run it from the directory it's in, for some reason
@Serg ever been to a sleep center? You'll get contacts on your had for 24 hours, including your sleep time. They can tell you a lot about what happens (or not) inside your brain.
...and if there are important mechanisms, making you fail to sleep.
Problem: many people don't have health insurance and can't afford the offensively high prices of medical care. Solution: I know, let's pass a law that makes it illegal not to have health insurance! Yay! Not even the Republicans can object to that!

And, sadly, that probably is the best that could pass the vote in the US.
I Germany (and the Netherlands as well, I think), you must have a health insurance. You can only chose which one you want or whether you prefer a private insurance over the compulsory ones. And as teen/young adult you can usually run under the insurance of your parents until your education is over.
To start the X server on boot, use of a display manager such as lightdm seems to be the preferred method. However, if I start X by starting the lightdm service, I get a "No protocol specified" error. If I run the same command that lightdm calls according to ps -ef:
sudo /usr/lib/xorg/Xorg -core ...
As the topic stated, I'm curious about the mechanism in it.
I'm planning to mod it into a version which can automatically resize the windows partition(which has space available) and install on its next.
Can I just simply set the installation target to the real partition in the pre-configuration...
now , big question. Do i go fix the README.md or do i go take a nap . . . ah crap i need to clean up my bed . . . .maybe i should sleep on the floor today
@ByteCommander this morning I undeleted my answer only because I thought of something to add to it... For me it is like a sport never to click anything and every day I open a calc file like this: soffice Dr*/Fi*/Inc* and then I just... open another terminal and leave it, because I'm lazy...
but today I sent it to the background... but I still get all the stupid gtk warnings. I thought. mmm this is annoying...
