First time it works. On second it breaks

After second try I have to telnet to my router and flush dhcp leases. Otherwise my machine keeps declining ips

I think in addition to doing those two commands it's necessary to also reconnect, e.g. run sudo service network-manager restart. Like I did that just now, got fresh IP address, everything works smooth

On a completely different note, I was wearing one of my Ask Ubuntu t-shirts on the way back from France a week ago and we stopped at the Pet Passport check in to declare our puppy, and the guy asked me if I had my penguin with me.

I have seen 3 users asking the bot questions about problems where they did assume it is a regular user, Secondly: I do not need to be greeted by a bot when I enter the chat. I distracts me from more important things

@ParanoidPanda Which bots are you talking about? There are a couple of RSS feeds (our Meta and U&L#Ubuntu) and the Smoke Detector, primarily for stopping spam fast. They're in a completely different league from wannabe ALICEbots.

Not that there isn't good engineering behind them, they just aren't welcome unless they can prove some sort of value that makes up for their inferiorities.
