Hello, I have a question that has recently been deleted that I have an answer for.

Duplicate, Pretty close but I don't think so. Every other year I install the latest LTS to a USB drive and record all the steps. Some years there are a lot of changes, some years not many. This year with 24.04 some terminology has been changed and some procedures are in a different order. I prefer submitting and using step-by-step instructions that are exact.
Ask Ubuntu will not let me publish this year's procedure. Should I edit last year's instructions, (askubuntu.com/q/1403792/43926), replacing everything with this year's instructions? For now, I will add this year's answer as a second answer.

@C.S.Cameron I myself would make the old one a wiki answer and focus on the new one from now on. Replacing it would be fine too but it would still be useable as long as 20.04 and 22.04 are valid versions

hm
@C.S.Cameron I feel like a different question would make sense - why wouldn't they publish it? (and I publish I mean closure/deletion)
Alternatively, maybe generalise the question and seperate out things by year
