First rule of learning LoL, in my opinon is this:
When your team is losing, don't ask what others did to make you lose. Ask how you could have played better to win.

@MickLH my account wasn't deleted after a year or two of inactivity

I first created it on launch, and didn't play for a long time because I didn't like the levelling and persistent upgrades. Didn't know they capped at 30 when you started ranked play.

and no game designer I told I thought that was a bad idea ever countered by telling me about the cap.

Sometimes I wonder how many game designers actually think about actual game design.
