12:00 AM
One of these days I am going to have to spend some time figuring how how the puppet rspec stuff is supposed to work, and the other templating frameworks. With all that fancy testing stuff I think my own modules would probably get ignored if I every published anything.

In my experience, most people seem to write their own shit
very few situations where pulling a module off of forge is the right fix

@ewwhite About the only thing I use as is is puppetlabs stdlib
The few others I found that would be useful were broken in some way...

They usually are, but sometimes they give a good starting point. The ones from puppet labs tend to be decent though. registry and dism are pretty much required when managing windows nodes

I've found some useful modules, usually always missing one critical feature.
The whole example42-nextgen suite is quite good, except for poor IPv6 support.

@ewwhite stdlib, lvm, vcsrepo and etckeeper (barely even forked) are all working fine for me... OTOH, mysql and firewall really fought back and I gave up on them for now.

12:06 AM
I think I use epel as-is
and used snmp for examples.

Hello folks

The most recent one that bugged me is that the
liamjbennett/windows_firewall can't open ICMP, or any protocol that is not tcp/udp...

include beer
require beer

Seattle kinda sucked... Portland was good.

class { 'beer': omg => yes, when => now; }

12:16 AM
@freiheit Duplicate declaration of beer! I think I'll let it slide, though.

quick one... can you have a Service subscribe to multiple files?

@ewwhite Yup

@ShaneMadden I need puppet to check every 30 minutes idempotently ensure that I have a beer

@freiheit BITE

@ShaneMadden multiple Subscribe =>
or do I pass an array?

12:19 AM
C'mere @ewwhite, you need a hug.
2
{{{@ewwhite}}}
2

Eww

@ewwhite Pass an array. subscribe => [ File[...], File[...] ] or have the file notify the Service.
@Wesley spray

@ewwhite subscribe => [ File["something"], File ["something else"] ]

@ewwhite That's your name, don't wear it out.

@Wesley BIKE ?

12:20 AM
@ShaneMadden in class, they told us to always have the file notify as well as the subscribe

@Wesley OMG you're alive!

@ShaneMadden That has stalled as unexpected expenses have made working on my headset / handlebar area a little more expensive than I'm comfortable with spending.
@ShaneMadden I do however have new running shoes, so I'm at least getting my heart pumping one way or another.

@ewwhite That's odd.. they recommend that for readability or something? One or the other is all that's needed to establish the relationship

@freiheit For certain definitions of "alive", yes.

@Wesley Ahh, nice.

12:21 AM
  service { $monit_svc:
    ensure    => 'running',
    enable    => true,
    restart   => 'monit reload',
    subscribe => File[$monit_conf],
  }

  file { $monit_conf:
    ensure    => file,
    owner     => 'root',
    group     => 'root',
    mode      => '0600',
    notify    => Service[$monit_svc],
    content   => template('monit/monit.conf.erb'),

@ShaneMadden I lost all my gainz from last year after the end-of-year shitshow that was my last massive vertigo relapse. =( 190 down to low 170s. sigh

@Wesley Ouch.

Oh well, time to burn the house down, get lean, then rebuild mah sexeh bod.
@ShaneMadden How's Utah and your workplace?
2

@Wesley Utah? O.o

@ShaneMadden "Somewhere up there"
2
@ShaneMadden (Don't ask)
2
My brain gave me two weeks notice shortly after my 16th birthday and I haven't found a replacement yet.
2

12:23 AM
@Wesley Haha. Good. (Denver BTW) Not sure if you heard, but I work at Stack Exchange now.

@ShaneMadden Well heck, no I didn't hear that!
2
Congratulations.
2
That's awesome.
2

@Wesley Thanks!

ok, spandex time.
cya later

@freiheit Don't die.

@freiheit lucky

12:24 AM
SO MANY STARS, STAR ALL THE THINGS

Okay so we're back to "star all the Wesley things"
9
And @HopelessN00b is back too... COINCIDENCE?!?
3

@Wesley Clearly.

What the bike is going on here?

I feel violated.
6
@ShaneMadden When did you get picked up by SE?

@ewwhite I disagree

12:27 AM
@Wesley Started yesterday. Still just in information overload pretty much.

@JoelESalas K. State your case!

@ShaneMadden Oh wow so you really ARE new?!
2
@ShaneMadden So when does @Zypher get you alone for 20 minutes in a cable closet? Or was that something that he just did for me.
2

@Wesley Very.
@Wesley I think that's in June when we do datacenter move stuff in NYC.

Anonymous
HOLY SHIT

Anonymous
IT'S @Wesley

12:29 AM
@ShaneMadden Okay, tips for dealing with @Zypher: 1) He's faster than he looks, 2) You can't overpower him, 3) Good stout goes a long way, 4) You can't outdrink him, 5) He talks in his sleep.

AND BLOODY HELL THE STARWALL IS FULL OF MY FAVOURITE CAT

@ewwhite Only rarely does a Puppet Forge module not do most of what you want
you might wrap around it with a class you write

@PatoSáinz Remember, I'm a sexehcat! teteateat.cloud101.eu

@Wesley Haha, I'll keep that in mind

@JoelESalas You know Ruby?

Anonymous
12:31 AM
@Wesley gimme a shell plox

@JoelESalas I chose to write my own monit, denyhosts, tuned-adm, and a few others.

@ewwhite I'm digging into Ruby and I'm growing a handlebar moustache. I can be #devops now?
2

and then anything that's application or environment specific

@ewwhite rofl why
@ewwhite I know some ruby yes

@JoelESalas the existing weren't good enough for my use cases.

12:33 AM
@ewwhite your use cases are fucked nine times out of ten

sometimes it's the need for cross-platform... sometimes it's just that some people contribute modules that they probably shouldn't.

@Wesley only if you're using handlebars.js

@JoelESalas And logstash.
2

@Wesley Don't you dare talk bad about logstash

@Wesley long time no chat

12:40 AM
@BigHomie Yeah, been a ghost on most online outlets by choice for the last month or two. Trying to focus I guess. Not having success with it. =P

I understand, want to try and do the same thing. Glad you're not dead.

@BigHomie Haven't died yet, but not for lack of others trying.
Still irritated about RG not getting back to me about you writing, but... oh well. I'm sure it'll happen eventually but things are changing there apparently. =/

@Wesley meh, no biggie, it'll happen when it happens I suppose

Meanwhile, I nurse my burgeoning ELK stack, tool away on a stupid SBS installation, and take a look at PHP and Ruby frameworks.

/yawn

12:52 AM
@Wesley I see, but... what's up with you pwning the star wall?
Is this your welcome back

Should we perhaps un star all the Wesley things?

@Andrew Oldest one is 13 minutes old, probably locked in by now, unless some kind mod sets him free

Any P4000 nerds in tha house?

Q: HP LeftHand VSA "Usable Space" less than "Raw Space"

Mark HendersonI have a few LeftHand VSA nodes that are very poorly documented (read: not at all). They are running on VMWare ESXi and each VSA has an 820GB VMDK allocated as its storage disks. The 820GB VMDK is showing up inside VSA as Raw Space, but the Usable Space is showing as 607.79GB: Now, on a norma...

Hey!! @Wesley
Purrr muddafucka

@MarkHenderson headbonk
@BigHomie I dunno. About two years ago someone as yet unknown took it upon themselves to star everything I said and spend their daily star limit on me. It died down, but now it's back.

sup @Wesley

12:57 AM
Holy shit @Bob

@Wesley that's hilarious

Bob
@MarkHenderson O_O
when the fuck did that happen
he was denying it when I checked this morning

Fucking Obeids strike again. I'm not O'Farrel's biggest fan, but those Obeids fuck it up for everyone. He seemed like a decent person (for a liberal)

@cole Heya
Coming up on five years on ServerFault. I've spent half a decade of my life here. Not sure if proud or depressing.

@Wesley since I'm fairly new here, sadly I cannot claim responsibility.

12:58 AM
@Wesley Man that means I have too
Scary

Bob
> "Obviously, as we now know, he innocently, inadvertently misled ICAC yesterday and he has taken the utterly honourable step of resigning as Premier."

@MarkHenderson Yeah you're several months older than me.

Bob
"innocently, inadvertently"
suuuuuuuure

@Bob yeahh right :p

@MarkHenderson Ohh no, wait. Older in Chat. You and I are close to the same day for signup.

12:59 AM
It could be that this is the tip of the iceberg, but even so

@MarkHenderson I'm user 9770, you're 7709.
Is it weird that I have my ServerFault user ID memorized?

Bob
@MarkHenderson I can only hope Abbott goes down. Too bad it's pretty unlikely.

@Bob Wishful thinking

Bob
@Wesley My chat id is 35822. Too many "Bob"s, had to memorise it to use search...

@Bob Oh good idea.

1:01 AM
> member for 4 years, 10 months

That last one was me, some needed to keep it going.

Bob
Are we just starring all of @Wesley's messages now?

@MikeyB Hey, how's your skullectomy healing?

@Jacob IT WAS YOU!!!

@Wesley My bandwidth has really improved.

1:02 AM
@MikeyB Dropped any more juicy bloodclots out of your mouth?

Pretty sure I just sneezed out a chunk of amber with a bug in it.

Wow who Wesley'd all over the Star Wall?
5

@BigHomie Nope wasn't me, have proof.

Oh and HOW YOU DOING?

1:03 AM
@MikeyB When's that going to stop?
@MikeyB Making it. Having fun getting no replies from job applications. Doing the contracting thing in the mean time. Attempting to, anyway.

@Wesley It was a bad few months for getting sick - two petri dishes in the house during the winter kind of sucks.

@MikeyB Wow, same experience here. Been sick three times so far in just 3 1/2 months. No petri dishes though. I suffer through it hardcore. Jumping jacks in the morning and metal concerts at night!

@MikeyB Does Canada have anything against Iran? Just had someone sign up from there.

@Jacob Nothing crazy I don't think, but NATO trade / banking embargoes in place I believe.

@MikeyB Oh ok, if the company was stateside I'd have to refuse his business.

OH HEY LOOK: "…add an exemption aimed at increasing the availability of consumer communication technologies that contribute to internet freedom…"
That's cool.

@MikeyB Sweet.
@MikeyB Well correction, it appears that he signed up, but never signed up for the VPN/paid for it. Why do people even bother

@MikeyB poke So LinkedIn told me you had a work anniversary? Congrats, right?

@Jacob To take a look?
@Wesley Yeah wow it's… 8 years?

@Jacob He's in Iran, so he may not have been able to use any of the payment methods.

@MikeyB That's what it said, yeah. That tends to be either a really good thing or a really bad thing. Not much middle ground. =P

1:18 AM
@Jacob And since you're using Bitpay (a US company) rather than taking the bitcoins yourself, even that option might have been foreclosed.

@Wesley I'm more or less the tech backbone of a tech company. Ups and downs :)
@MichaelHampton Do the details of the US's embargoes have any similar exclusions?

@MikeyB Huh?

@Bob - I updated the app store on this Lumina and now... it's totally gone. Can't find it anywhere
Typical Microsoft update in that regards

Bob
o.O

1:21 AM
@MikeyB Oh, OK. Let's find out...

Bob
I haven't used mine in a few months.

@MichaelHampton Nah, we're switching providers so we can take more coins.

@MikeyB There's a humanitarian exemption covering things like food, clothing donations, medicine and such, but nothing like that.

@MichaelHampton So I can send them cupcakes arranged to spell out my bitcoin address?

Love it.

Bob
2:38 AM
@MarkHenderson Great, now you have me fiddling with WP8 again -_-
Ah well, may as well see if there was an OS upgrade.
Strangely, I've never had to update the store.

@Bob Sorry :(

Bob
Urk. Spent a month with a 5" screen (S4), and now 4/4.3" feels strangely small :S

My wife wants a Galaxy Note. I tell her she'll never fit it in her clutch/handbag thing but she wants the bigger screen

Bob
@MarkHenderson Which OS version are you on?
I'm on Amber.

@Bob 8.0
How can I tell?
I'm in the about screen

Bob
2:42 AM
@MarkHenderson extras+info from system settings
You probably have Lumia Black (the one after Amber) - it came out late last year

@Bob Black

Bob
Ah.

I hate this phone so much
ANd I've only had it for half a day

Bob
@MarkHenderson :(

I don't see any obvious way of fucking off Bing from it
To search for an app by name, you have to:

1. Home
2. Scroll to bottom of tiles
3. Tap tiny arro
4. Tap tiny search
5. Type search terms
On IOS:

1. Home
2. Swipe down, anywhere on the launchpad
3. Type
No accuracy required

2:46 AM
WP8 lasted all of 48 hours here before my gf sent it back as utter shit

@MarkHenderson Whelp, I figured out the issues with PPTP/L2TP.

@Jacob Yeah?

@MarkHenderson Yeah looks like Yum update killed the configs as it overwrote only some of them.

@Jacob Damn

I intended to just update OpenSSL so we could validate any other packages, but looks like I goofed on that.
@MarkHenderson 7 line shell script to fix it, nothing too bad

Bob
2:48 AM
@MarkHenderson Eh, I never used app searches anyway.

Great, and the App Store is showing me apps that are not avaliable for my device. Like Google Maps.

Bob
@MarkHenderson You also don't need to tap the arrow.
Swipe left on the homescreen.

@MarkHenderson Are there any AU sites I should try/test with?

@Jacob ABC iView
It's region blocked

Bob
@Jacob I can make you an AU site? :P

2:51 AM
@Bob huh?
@MarkHenderson What in good heavens is "Gods of wheat street"?

Bob
@Jacob Never mind.

@Jacob I have no idea?
There's a lot of indie stuff on iView
The Gods of Wheat Street is an Australian television drama series that screened on ABC1 from 12 April 2014. The six-part series tells the stories of the Freeburn clan, an Australian Aboriginal family. Synopsis Odin Freeburn, head of the family, is being pulled in all directions as he tries to keep his family together. Odin has one brother in jail, another brother is in love with the daughter of the family enemy and his wife has run away to the city leaving him to raise their two daughters. To complicate matters, his employer has just died, his sister-in-law is in love with him and the s...

@MarkHenderson I shit you not. That was faster than Netflix.

@Jacob looks like it's working
Netflix is really, really slow to start streaming

Much faster.

2:54 AM
I use iView a lot and shows typically start instantly

@MarkHenderson They have peering issues with all the ISPs these days.

@MarkHenderson I use iViewnapper

@Andrew I have a python script I found on the intertron that I use in the case that I want to take shit offline
Only use it for long holidays for loading up the iPad for the kid

Now to deploy this shell script
Wowza you have car bombs in Australia.
Also, it appears that this works even after I disconnect. Maybe just what I had cached. This show looks interesting.

@Jacob I'm pretty sure that car bombs can be made in any country
But I'm not aware of real life car bombings happening
They love that shit on home and away and neighbours. The other day on Neighbours a pretty girl got shot by a goddamn sniper in an inner-melbourne suburb. If that shit was real there'd be a fucking goddamn army-sized manhunt, not brushed over in 2 episodes just to write the character out

3:00 AM
@MarkHenderson Yeah, US shows do stuff like that. Always underplay LEO response.
@MarkHenderson know off with NCIS?

@Jacob Oh yeah I had to stop watching that lol
Too much disbelief

@MarkHenderson Well

@Jacob thought that is a LEO show, so... :/
@MarkHenderson yeah I just disconnect my brain

@Jacob Or in The Following where Ryan Hardy gets shot multiple times and is 15 minutes later is chasing down baddies on foot and having sex in all sort of flexible positions

The Navy Yard is 4 hours from here. We have our own detachment in Norfolk.

@Andrew Oh god, I can get lost in tv tropes
Go in to look at one thing, come out 4 hours later

@MarkHenderson Me too.

"It is the proper duty of every British subject to come to the aid of the TARDIS"
> the other other Moff's Law

@Andrew Yeah, but their depection of the gate is terrible. It's like a little guard shack. The place has it's own highway to go to it. That and it tunnels under the runway, they screwed that bit up to.

@Jacob where's the actual place located?

3:07 AM
@Andrew Where their office or the place I'm talking about

Stargate was better, just show the entrance to the tunnel and don't ever do anything important around the real-world part
@Jacob indeed, trying to look it up
oh. the bit with the huge gates and runway..

Uh I can't find the link to a photo of the hole in the wall they portrayed it as.

@Jacob umm. Which office is NCIS supposed to operate out of in the show? because IRL their headquarters is at the Quantico Marine base... not in DC.

@Andrew It's in the Washington Naval Yard.

3:23 AM
@Jacob JAG are actually located there...
> The Yard serves as a ceremonial and administrative center for the U.S. Navy, home to the Chief of Naval Operations, and is headquarters for the Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Historical Center, the Department of Naval History, the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps, Naval Reactors, Marine Corps Institute, the United States Navy Band, the U.S. Navy's Military Sealift Command and numerous other naval commands. There a number of Officers Quarters located at the facility.
But at Quantico:

@Andrew You asked in the show

> The base is the home of major training institutions for both the Marine Corps and federal law enforcement agencies, including:
> Naval Criminal Investigative Service Headquarters, Army CID Headquarters, AFOSI Headquarters.
@Jacob indeed.
so in the show they've moved it.

@Andrew Strangely.

@Jacob I guess having a show set on a marine base in the middle of a swamp wouldn't make good TV

@Andrew It's not a swamp. The Marine Corp museum is there.
@MarkHenderson It looks like 53 UDP is getting blocked to to DNS abuse issues.
Not on our end, but at the carrier level

3:29 AM
@Jacob oh well, still better than any of the Australian produced stuff. We had a navy show with criminally incompetent characters who would make the same basic mistakes every single episode. "What's that, we should search these people who we just pulled off a boat to make sure they don't have weapons or drugs? Naaah just give them free access to the whole ship..."
@MarkHenderson did you endure Sea Patrol at all?

@Andrew All I know about Australia in that regard is that your government is trying to STOP THE BOATS?
cc @MarkHenderson ^^
Wow, I can get that on Hulu

@MarkHenderson trainwreck: abc.net.au/news/2014-04-16/…

@Andrew I've watched 10 seconds of that, and I get your point. The XO doesn't ever point out obvious things to the captain.
"The boats slowing sir" No shit.

@Andrew bahaha no but it looked pretty shit
@Andrew Fucking eyeroll
@Andrew Bwahahaha I just saw who wrote it
Mr Journalist himself

Party line stuck on loop: abc.net.au/am/content/2014/s3986478.htm
Scroll down near the end:
> JAMIE BRIGGS: What they expected is a Government who will do what it says. And we said we would bring the budget under control. We said we would stop the boats. We said we would build the infrastructure of the 21st century. And we said we would get rid of the unnecessary taxes, like the carbon tax and the mining tax. And that's exactly what people…
> CHRIS UHLMANN: But you didn't say you'd lift taxes, did you?
> JAMIE BRIGGS: We said we would get the budget under control, we said we would build the infrastructure of the 21st century and we said we would stop the boats and that's exactly what the Government is going about doing. (etc.)

3:38 AM
@Andrew She's boarding boats and she can't keep from vomiting? Either your navy is really incompetent, or this TV is terrible and I'm thinking it's the later.

This JAMIE BRIGGS (whoever he is) has read his media training pack
@Jacob It is terrible
Most Australian shows are terrible

@MarkHenderson my federal MP unfortunately :(

4:01 AM
@Andrew Where are they patrolling?

@Andrew That's awesome

@Andrew Right now, I can tell you that about 37 percent of the roughly 781 million games registered to various Steam accounts haven’t even been loaded a single time. Anyone know what the hell is up with that? I've seen that kind of thing on the achievements too, and perplexes me.

@HopelessN00b Bundles

@HopelessN00b Yep
Bundles
I have about 20 games I've never even installed because they came in a humble bundle

@MarkHenderson Isn't there a site for that?

4:08 AM
And sometimes you see a game on a steam sale for $2 that's been on your list for years and you go "Ohh!" and then you never play it

Yeah check it out, go here: steamcalculator.com
Games not played 151 (44%)

@MikeyB Account worth $4078.07
Nice

@MikeyB It seems to be stuck on "Work in progres..."
$1207
Games not played 49 (51%)

@Jacob Darwin - ish
@Jacob or something. Dunno.

Don't be fooled: Assassin's Creed II 102.7h
I left it open and paused for 3 days straight

4:19 AM
@MarkHenderson 0.0 hours last two weeks

I havent played any games in over a month

@MarkHenderson schade
@MarkHenderson @Andrew Why don't they ever have weapons drawn while boarding?

@MarkHenderson Yeah, I got a few strategy games with thousands of hours in, for leaving them open 24/7.

@Jacob Becuase they are actors in a poorly scripted drama
Australian shows fall into the following categories:

- Drama
- Soap Opera
- Comedy sketch show
- Comedy quizz show
That pretty much covers our entire spectrum

@MarkHenderson That's a shame

4:28 AM
@MarkHenderson That shit never made sense to me (and Canadian TV has the same problem). It's that kind of shit that should be cheap and easy to get right, which you really need to do on account of not being able to compete with the size and money of Hollywood for sets and special effects... why the effing kindergarten mistakes on writing and acting?

@HopelessN00b Because they rush them out the door with only minimal review. I guess to save money?
Not really sure, because you're right

@HopelessN00b I mean the boat looks good, they just board boats with no weapons.
AND now I need to find a torrent legal source for this with no ads.

Yeah, <shrug>. Pity too, because if it weren't for shit like that, local film and television could compete with the big Hollywood shit, and we wouldn't have the same ol' same ol'... or at least there'd be some interesting variety in there.

@HopelessN00b cost of production / barrier to entry / Murdoch.

Nah, that explains the lack of good competitors to Hollywood, not why the local film and TV make amateur mistakes that could be prevented for cheap or free.
Besides, Murdoch doesn't have a big footprint in Canada.
(If any, even.)

@MarkHenderson This show reminds me of some recruiting letters to the US military. I'd love to be able to serve in the Air Force cyber detachment, but alas I can't.

Are you still watching Sea Patrol?
Seriously there are better shows to watch on iView.
Bananas in Pyjamas for one
2

@MarkHenderson Yeah, it's kinda interesting to a non-Australian. I'm on Hulu, but hey I bet iView doesn't have ads

@Jacob Nope no ads

5:17 AM
@MarkHenderson Is the AFP/Navy thing a big section of theplot

Bob
@MarkHenderson Holy shit, I still remember the song -_-

@Bob Remember the song? I saw them live on Saturday
@Jacob Never watched it, but it's called Sea Patrol so I'm guessing... yes

Bob
@MarkHenderson Haven't watched it in... a while?

@Bob It's animated now

Bob
Actually, haven't watched TV at all for a while.
@MarkHenderson NOOOOOOOOOOOOO

5:23 AM
And I haven't once seen them chase any teddies in the new show

Bob
Sooo... I just got an (internal) email with the subject "Heartbleed :IMPORTANT"
3
Bit late?

@Bob Just slightly
@MarkHenderson @Andrew I'm uh not really sure why, but this show is kinda interesting?
Must be because I'm one of those crazy Americans.

@Bob My boss just forwarded one of those along yesterday. Seems the $vendor reps and salespeople finally have it figured out enough to start pushing their products on the basis of never having been affected by heartbleed, or now being patched for heartbleed, or some other heartbleed-related something.
It was awful. I have enough reasons to strangle my boss without adding heartbleed to the list.

5:50 AM
@HopelessN00b what are the workplace laws like in ${country}?

Well, How do you mean? I'm not allowed to strangle $boss, even when he deserves it, if that's what you're asking.

@HopelessN00b as in what legal recourse to you have for whatever makes you want to strangle them

None/Find better boss/job. As it should be.

6:08 AM
@HopelessN00b in civilised parts of the world we have industrial relations laws which protect against bullying and such.

Bob
@Andrew Dumbass boss != bullying... necessarily

@Andrew a) not bullying. b) fuck that... the level of disconnect with reality is utterly staggering in those laws. In what world is dragging that kind of highschool bullshit into court better than finding a new job?

@HopelessN00b umm, since people decided that suicide was the only way out?

@Andrew If we made a la based on every time someone made a stupid decision, we'd have millions of... oh, well... still, being buried by millions of laws is a strong argument against making a new one everytime someone does something stupid.

6:23 AM
Workplace bullying occurs when an employee experiences a persistent pattern of mistreatment from others in the workplace that causes harm. Workplace bullying can include such tactics as verbal, nonverbal, psychological, physical abuse and humiliation. This type of aggression is particularly difficult because, unlike the typical forms of school bullying, workplace bullies often operate within the established rules and policies of their organization and their society. Bullying in the workplace is in the majority of cases reported as having been perpetrated by someone in authority over the ...
same reason we have consumer protection laws really.

@Andrew There's a big difference (fraud), but whatever... probably not going to be all that constructive, and I have to wake up in a few hours to warm my chair at the office, and maybe do printers.
In any event, the solution to a bully is the same as it's always been. Kick his ass.

@HopelessN00b "zero tolerance"

7:03 AM
@HopelessN00b not all bullying is obvious

G'day

@Iain Can't you just knock off riding for a week? In one day, you've got the same mileage and climbing that I've got all week!

@Ward :) after last night ?

@Ward Ok I just checked - you have a chance this week as I'm busy over the long weekend and may not get out to do a long ride

7:14 AM
I can't ride tomorrow, but maybe on Thu. Not sure how much I'll have time for on the weekend

I see you picking up PRs all the time

Oh, yeah, like today I go extra hard on the long hill going home from work and get some PRs, but I'm still like 400/700 people on the segment!
Still, it's better than no exercise and I feel better when I bike to/from work.

I almost never look at other people's PRs on segments I just use them to see my own improvement.

7:46 AM
morning

1 hour later…
Bob
@Andrew Turns out, I'm apparently not Australian.

@Bob I fail on Vegemite too.

> 13. You think 'Woolloomooloo' is a perfectly reasonable name for a place.
