@Holocryptic Either way, a chat flag goes up, can't depend only on that site's mods. We were already complaining that some of our mods were inactive and if Chopper is no here, someone's gotta sort through the crap. That's also why we all need to calm the eff down. Let the past be the past and move on.

This is my only issue with chat. With the greatest respect, mods on other sites don't know what is "normal" in sf.chat.

The idea is that chat is an instant medium requiring fast and quick moderation. If it's offensive, it's offensive now, not five hours in the future.
