I dont stress anything at work because they've thrown so much at me they can't fire me even if they want to. Nobody else knows how to create the newsletters we send.
I wouldn't say that I've done some revolutionary changes, but some changes to the workflow that makes me work more efficiently... Plus when my boss asks if I could stay and work, after my normal hours, I'm like: "where do I sign up!?"
no forget that I get next to squat on vacation / sick days and can't even skip out an hour if needed for a doctor or something so no way am I working extra unless they pay me overtime
I do hate how he sometimes dictates my designs, like I'm a robot with no graphical sense what so ever.. but he is very lenient when it comes to these things
Just last christmas he gave me week of paid vacation when I had no vacation days left
Well more and more of my work has been going to our parent company and I'm not sure why. Its really starting to get to me because it was one of the few parts of my job that I enjoyed.
Reminded me of this one conversation where I was talking with an American about this 3d puzzle thing where there is this metal frame and a string goes through the metal frame and it has 2 wooden balls on each side and there's a non-forceful way of getting the string out...
@Yisela To be honest, I get pretty anxious/frustrated when I can't get my projects completed... It's been really bugging me a lot lately. I accidentally came in to the chat and I stayed to fish for a partner in crime to work with me on some jquery plugin projects :D

@Yisela But anyways to be honest, I'm not necessarily looking for someone who surpasses me with their jquery abilities ( necessarily )... I'm just so damn good at starting new projects without finishing the old ones. I need someone to help me out in finishing the old projects. One of the biggest bottlenecks in my projects are websites / writing the documentation... When I get to that point, I slide towards making new features to the website, rather than write the damn documentation :D
@Joonas Get it. Although it now looks way out of my league. I thought you needed someone to tell you why your slider is 20px wider than it should be or something like that
...this "plugin testing code" that I've written there has nothing to do with the actual plugin, other than showcasing the features, so It's not a necessary thing for the website.
I used to think so too, but then I realized that I'm very slow when it comes to learning coding. I don't get something and then suddenly it's like SNIPPITY SNAP! ...and I get it..

I used to make everything for my projects, but I never had enough time. Sometimes it's much better to just ask someone else to do the things you are stuck with (especially if they do it faster and better)
if people pay me to make things they don't know how to do, the same applies to me hiring others
I'm probably going to devote my whole summer vacation for doing my projects, like it did in my last summer vacation ( of course I didn't finish any of them )

@Yisela, I did actually make a jekyll page in github for image framer plugin ( joonaspaakko.github.io/Image-Framer-jquery-plugin ) so that I could try to focus on the documentation, that didn't go far :D But I'm thinking I might continue using that page just in case... ( Although I did do a lot of work on that page I showed you earlier. It would be kind of a shame not to use it.. )
