@Burgi: When you used TikiWiki did you manage separate wikis for different groups or one combined one for all users?

(Trying to figure out if TikiWiki can actually do separate wikis/namespaces without lame hacks)

I suspect I'm just going to go back to TWiki/FOSWiki. It's got tons of enterprise-relevant features that just work and I already have several installs. Sure you basically need a comp sci degree just to maintain it, but at least it does everything we need except native LDAP. And I've already written a patch for that.

DokuWiki seems to be the most popular one outside of MediaWiki though

So the verdict seems to be performance somewhere between that of a stock GTX 970 and a GTX 980, though closer to the 970 most of the time, and consumes 60w less power. Which is nearly half

Funny considering both have 150w marked TDP's :-P

Actually GTX 970 has a stock TDP of 145.

So yeah, the RX 480 is really closer to 100w than 150w. Like I said before :-D

yea , lots of funny things, when the TDP for the nvidia 1000 series was supposed to be so low, but then testing of it showed it peaking at similar watttages as my old card, while still blowing my old card out of the water.

Some peoples methodolgy for the power use of the cards is not always perfect, they can (or do) still pull power from the PCIslot also. some places tend to give overall system power specs, and that includes the PSU conversion losses.

Urgh other sites are showing vastly different numbers.

One site did specifically measure GPU power draw by tapping directly into the connectors rather than total system power draw.

if you drop an ampmeter into the 8-6 pin connecting stuff, the meter always adds a tiny bit of resistance, soo the card can then pick up even more of its power from the PCI slot itself. Well they are computer peoples first, not EEs :-)

Drawing 155w peaks from a 75w PCIe slot, not good. Two of them in Crossfire has a non-negligible chance of blowing up your motherboard.

cfls still have better actual CRI, but because everything here goes on and off on motion sencors, the LEDs cope with that easily. and a CFL has to warm up before it reaches full brightness LOL i was already out of the room by then.

@Bob The stock firmware on my Archer C7 was... not at all terrible

But admittedly I never used it as an actual router, just as an AP.

My older TP-Link routers seem to have a firmware based off an old Openwrt fork with a shiny UI tacked on top

(Incidentally the Philips Hue home bridge runs OpenWRT!)

But DSR does definitely support 8K on the 7xx series, with a 4K monitor and 4x scale setting. There is no 8x scale setting AFAIK
