Q: Tor service is running, but doesn't work and nothing is shown in the log file

DummyBeginnerI have a problem in Tor service, especially with its log file. The log file in the path /var/log/tor/log changes only the first time Tor is running after installation. It does not change after Tor restart. This is what I did: After installing Tor, got this output from log file: $ sudo tail -f ...

Q: Forcing Genymotion network traffic to pass through Ubuntu proxy settings

DummyBeginnerOn a Genymotion virtual device (Android 6.0.0 API 23) I need it to follow the network proxy rules of Ubuntu which are set in Settings --> Network --> Network proxy. I tried on both enabled "apply system wide" and without that, but have not met the purpose. Since Genymotion uses VirtualBox to run...

@Sie Thank you
Jun 30, 2016 13:02
@Jon very lucrative. Thank you
Jun 30, 2016 13:01
@Sie Oh, that's exactly I was considering. thanks
Jun 30, 2016 13:00
@Hakase appreciate it
Jun 30, 2016 12:58
@Jon I saw different java game demos which made me sick
Jun 30, 2016 12:57
@Hakase So maybe it's the same case here Since for the first step in developing a 2D android/iOs game. 3D games would be in future maybe. My whole point was to not waste my time learning and working SDK frameworks while I should go another path from the scratch
Jun 30, 2016 12:51
@Hakase But you didn't mention frameworks (like Corona SDk or XNA) in the first suggestions. Why you haven't work with Unity/Unreal engines instead of frameworks?
Jun 30, 2016 12:48
@Hakase what do you use personally?
Jun 30, 2016 12:48
@UriPopov sure but the environment affects
Jun 30, 2016 12:46
@Almo I mean Unreal or Unity which one help to less code
Jun 30, 2016 12:43
@UriPopov yea baby
Jun 30, 2016 12:42
What do you think about Corona SDK? Generally speaking, do you use/suggest WYSIWYG game editors like Unity/Unreal or code library engines and SDK for game development?
Jun 30, 2016 12:35
@Almo So which one does aim better this goal?
Jun 30, 2016 12:34
I'm sinking :D shat are IS & BS
Jun 30, 2016 12:31
@DH. ok
Jun 30, 2016 12:31
@Hakase IS this a general thumb rule in game development?
Jun 30, 2016 12:30
Are these game makers like Unity and Unreal more Visual game editors? a WYSIWYG platfrom?
Jun 30, 2016 12:28
@Hakase you're saying Unreal stands higher than unity in regard the limitations?
Jun 30, 2016 12:27
@DH. Why? ehat was wrong with his account
Jun 30, 2016 12:26
@Tyyppi_77 Thanks
Jun 30, 2016 12:26
talking* typo :)
Jun 30, 2016 12:25
What do you all taking about
Jun 30, 2016 12:24
I'm lacking ...
Jun 30, 2016 12:23
@Jon shaun the sheep? :D
Jun 30, 2016 12:23
@PearsonArtPhoto Hmmm, What about unity? Is it C# based?
Jun 30, 2016 12:22
@PearsonArtPhoto So it's rational to use Unreal fo the first game I think
Jun 30, 2016 12:20
@UriPopov Java on top of all :D So which one is closer to java
Jun 30, 2016 12:17
Regarding the pricing, I'd prefer Unreal upon Unity as the start of an indie game development. Don't know whether I'm right or not
Jun 30, 2016 12:15
I heard angry birds too
Jun 30, 2016 12:15
@DH. And I'll do my best to avoid limitation at the start of building career foundation
Jun 30, 2016 12:10
@DH. Thanks. That means it would have a certain roadmap and wouldn't be dead?
Jun 30, 2016 12:09
@Tyyppi_77 That was the reason scared me to ask the question on the site and get tons of down votes :D
Jun 30, 2016 12:05
However, I saw the Starling, which is apparently the engine of the "Angry Birds" game but is Flash based. While the Flash is being abandoned by different platform increasingly, What would happen to Starling? Does it worth to invest on, or is it as good as libgdx?
Jun 30, 2016 12:05
Hi guys, In the beginning of game dev journey (With having Java and android background) I tried to choose the best (multi-platform) and the brightest future framework/platform for starting deep dive into. I've reached the libgdx for now.
