The 5 foot radius sphere "rule" would exclude 10x10x10 foot cubes, while the spell does not. "functionally identical" is therefore just wrong.

The setting is strange (as in nothing I've ever tried), and the losing conditions are interesting, both in game terms and in character.
May 17, 2016 09:23
@BESW I'm currently in the process of getting a new job and moving, so I'll probably won't get around to it in the near future.
May 17, 2016 09:20
@BESW I really only hopped on here from the 2d6 coin thingy question. Sounds like a fun game, and the mechanics are interesting.
Jul 24, 2015 08:43
Incidentally, this does not affect PF witches.
Jul 24, 2015 08:43
Out of dice? Your character is now unable to perform any action requiring a die roll.
Jul 24, 2015 08:33
Never mind the mason jars, but why do you have Epsom Salt lying around?

Fair enough, they don't actually die when not eating, so it's not really a metabolism issue... Ghouls are just gourmets.
Nov 25, 2014 14:04
On a related note to this: Do Zombies/Flesh-Eating Undead work in D&D 3.5? "A creature with no Constitution has no body or no metabolism." Since they obviously have a body but no Con, they don't have a metabolism
Nov 25, 2014 12:22
@doppelgreener good question. My head synonymed it, apparently wrongly.
Nov 25, 2014 12:07
@BESW It was basically debating whether or not linking dndtools is valid, on the basis that the site clearly violates copyright. The site was taken down by DMCA now, and I've seen users link google cached versions of the site instead.
Nov 25, 2014 12:03
Quick question: I seem to remember a meta talking about dndtools.eu, but I can't find it not. Does anyone remember it?
Nov 25, 2014 12:02
Hello.

I also need to leave now, so have a nice [insert local time]

It doesn't really do much for me as a student though. That, and I only program small stuff in python

Nov 12, 2014 14:57
Alright, thanks a lot and good night
Nov 12, 2014 14:52
Ooh, I like that one.
Nov 12, 2014 14:50
I think I do.
Nov 12, 2014 14:47
Oh, he was cynical as hell.
Nov 12, 2014 14:45
That's a good question... I never actually specified, but homicide would fit best
Nov 12, 2014 14:44
After going west, he adopted the "Bad cop" style of gathering information at all costs, though he was concerned with keeping normal citizens life normal. I moved away right before that Character would have become one of the Union's Agents
Nov 12, 2014 14:41
His most prized possession was the (incredibly cliché) pocket watch of his partner's, that stopped right when said partner died
Nov 12, 2014 14:37
(and yes, that is James Moriarty, Arthur Conan Doyle and John Sinclair)
Nov 12, 2014 14:36
came up with: Irish former Chicago Cop, Dr. James Doyle Sinclair killed my partner and I'm getting too old for this
Nov 12, 2014 14:34
I went on with my Deadlands Character, a former Chicago cop that went west after his partner was murdered, to pursue the murderer.
Nov 12, 2014 14:30
@BESW I quickly abandoned my D&D chars^^
Nov 12, 2014 14:29
By "convert" I meant trying to figure out how to best describe the character via Aspects.
Nov 12, 2014 14:24
Yeah. I was trying to convert previous characters of mine into FAE, to get a feel of how to do it, but I stumped completely.
Nov 12, 2014 14:22
Seems like I underestimated how wide aspects are
Nov 12, 2014 14:13
Though what I can see it being used for fits the concept of a stunt much better (Get-out-of-trouble-free card)
Nov 12, 2014 14:12
In particular, one of the example characters uses "That? Oh, That’s a Decoy" as an aspect, but I can't seem to figure out how this qualifies for the two-bladedness that aspects are supposed to have
Nov 12, 2014 14:10
@BESW Fate questions! I read FAE last friday, and I can't say I understand what qualifies as an aspect, in contrast to a stunt
Nov 12, 2014 13:34
"Whales: Not in space"
Nov 11, 2014 11:05
(that would be French)
Nov 11, 2014 11:05
I'm off to learn the strange tongue of these lands from the natives

I have hacked something together in python that returns the statistics for a lot of rolls. Complete with a rudimentary bar chart!

This is way too broad to have a single, subjective answer. There are hundreds of (prestige) classes in 3.5, and at least dozens of them are valid dipping choices, and some of these have a plethora of good features to choose even at level 1, so much that there is actually a Dipping Cleric 1 Handbook.

Joseph/Paul may also refer to Pope John Paul II, who was succeeded by Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger (aka Benedict XVI).

Zwedish football probably refers to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, born 03.10.1981.
