I bought a PC gamepad at Radio Shack that appears to be functioning in windows 7, as I tested it in its configuration window. However, I cant get it to work in Black Ops II. It has the most recent drivers. Is there a way to get this to work with this game or do I need to get an xbox controller...

When you say 'can't get it to work', does that mean it doesn't do anything at all in the game? Does it work in the menus? @pixel I'm not so sure, I mean, his gamepad works on the system, but not for this game. Most likely, a) the game doesn't support his exact model, or b) he hasn't enabled it in the in-game settings.

After it detects two parts are close enough to be docked, it deletes them both and regenerates it as a single ship.

@GnomeSlice It tends to be pretty noticeably different to me up to about 60fps or so. But also, 30 FPS is when it's not chugging because things are exploding

Say your eyes really do see at 30 Hz precisely and your game runs at 60 Hz and there's no phase difference. What happens then is, the eye captures two frames and kind of mixes them. As a result, you notice it.

you can get a noticeable amount more shaking in a higher fps video recording, which is where most of the main complaint comes from
