@NobodyNada There are multiple things which can terminate a URL, not just a ". Using [^"]* is not a good idea, as it could easily include substantially more than intended. At a minimum, it should not include whitespace, as that's the most likely thing to clearly terminate and be in close proximity when not in a <a href"", so [^"\s]*.
It would probably also be a good idea to limit it to some maximum number of characters, but that is less important, as that making a substantial difference would require body text which is much less likely.

@Makyen Ohh, good thinking. I didn't even consider URLs which weren't in an a href

@RyanM @NobodyNada For now, I've reverted the watch back to freebitco\.in. The new watch catches only 1 of 8 TP for the domain. I suspect you were looking at the domain page, rather than a search for the watch.
Unfortunately, the domain page wasn't previously showing all of the posts which contain the domain. I've added the domain to all of the posts which include it. I'm certainly open to options as to updating the watch, but it would be nice if any change still caught a significant portion of the TP.
I note that there are up to 40, or so, posts on SE (in urls; in text), which might be detected as FP. This is more than would be nice, but doesn't appear to be all that bad, particularly given that the watch has detected at least one TP post which would not have otherwise been detected.

@Makyen Oops, thanks for pointing that out. However, most of the TPs on the search for the watch appear to be spam for other reasons, and only include the domain incidentally -- (i.e. they're promoting a different product and happen to reference freebitcoin\.in as a 3rd-party service)
That being said, it still might be worth a watch, especially if a significant percentage of posts including the domain are spam

@NobodyNada I agree that there could be improvement and that we might get more FP than we'd like with the watch as it currently is. However, the one post which it did independently detect was spam for this domain. I'm definitely open to ways to improve it. I haven't taken a detailed look at all of the posts. There may be some commonalities within the TP (or FP) which can be used to differentiate.

@Makyen I'm not sure whether that post is actually spam -- it looks like it's asking a genuine question: "the script worked [...] but the account has not changed"

@NobodyNada I can not say that post is spam. At the time, I didn't consider it to rise to the level of being spam and only voted to close. A Google search does pick up this page which has a script which is obfuscated in a manner consistent with it being for a nefarious purpose. I'm not planning to put the effort into de-obfuscating that script.
Prior to finding that script, I was seriously considering disputing the spam flags. I may still do so, but I'm less confident that there was not nefarious intent.
