@KronoS I'm starting to rethink that paradigm. Are you sure Ivo isn't our slave? We're always the ones flagging things, making him edit tag wikis for us, etc.
So in reality, the new crop of moderators means 3 more people to do our bidding, rather than the other way around. I'm excited!! :D

@Sathya, misunderstood, I thought that was directed at you personally. Reading that convo now.
I suppose one possible way to make everyone happy would be this: on a question in which the asker has put up a bounty and the question is not yet answered, when they accept the answer, a box could pop up reminding them that accepting the answer does not automatically assign the bounty, and giving them a button to click if they would like to do so
I haven't really worked with it much before, but learning a new language is always fun. And maybe I can play around with the data in other programs, too

@Sathya I actually deleted my comment in which my answer was: I don't care. The new bounty system was clearly explained both on the blog and on MSE and was requested by the community. The asker takes a risk hoping to get an answer, and if you don't lose the reputation for taking the risk, bounties will be useless. I see no reason to motivate a chance
