@JakeSymons is that a conflation of "association" and "assassination"? (-:

1:53 PM
@tripleee fixed it

@JakeSymons if you are looking for Smoke Detector privileges, I see you now have the > 300 rep, can you also point to helpful spam flags or something to support your self-nomination?

@tripleee I'll don't mind waiting until the 300 rep point

oh I thought I saw 350 somewhere but your profile says 189

@tripleee yeah that's what it is. Maybe 350 total on all sites ??

I guess so
if you can rack up helpful flags by clicking on spam reports here in the meantime then you should have what it takes for a solid nomination

1:56 PM
@tripleee great :)

yes, that 350 is all the gained rep, and it won't count the association bonuses

be careful in the beginning, all flags are not "helpful" -- you want to err on the conservative side just to avoid getting flag banned or something (in addition of course to being careful just because that's the right thing to do)

@tripleee I'm always careful on the flags :) most of the time

but with on the order of 100 diet pills and hair growth spams per day there's plenty to click on with confidence

@tripleee yeah, still waiting to get 10 more rep to flag on every site. One more vote up :)

@JakeSymons As per the link Glorfindel posted:
> These are all general guidelines, rather than hard limits. Really, we’re just checking to make sure that you’re a sane person who won’t abuse the system. We understand that there are cases of users who have little apparent activity who can be excellent at moderation; we’re also aware that the converse is true. Take note of what’s mentioned here, but also remember that requests are judged on a case-by-case basis.

@JakeSymons There isn't really much of a concept of "official" Charcoal people here, and that's deliberate. There are people who are here a lot and people who aren't so much. Both of those groups of people contain individuals with varying privilege levels. The way to further privileges is to demonstrate your sanity and good intent, rather than much to do with history - yes, history is a guide if we have no other context on someone, but it's not much beyond that.
@quartata there ya go then :P

@ArtOfCode I'd assume that an "official" Charcoal member would be getting on /people...
