We have username similar to website turned off for questions

Definitely not.

Wouldn't that match a whole bunch of stuff though?
I can't work out the query for it :P

the trouble with spam seeds is that the question isn't bumped when the answer is deleted -- otherwise it would catch it as blacklisted user

4:32 PM
@Riker Are you sure that the last report is a FP? The question asks for "Reliability of SSD vs HDD", and the answer answers about the difference between the 2 in general terms, seems at least Not An Answer to the question for me

@Ferrybig NAA doesn't mean "an incorrect answer," or "an answer to the wrong question," it means "not an answer at all"

It's actually promotion without disclosure - user is owner of the company

@Ferrybig an NAA flag will probably be declined with the standard reason flags should not be used to indicate technical inaccuracies, or an altogether wrong answer

@CalvT that'd make it spam; where does it say that?

@NobodyNada his profile.

@NobodyNada The tooltip when flagging as naa states "This was posted as an answer, but it does not attempt to answer the question." so it's describing exact this scenario. Note that its says "the" question, and not "any" question

Btw can anyone see deleted comments on that last one?

@CalvT yea, I just was

@CalvT yea, I just was suprised
@Ferrybig NAA means things that don't even attempt to answer the question

@Ferrybig I agree it's inconsistent, but trust me: NAA flags on such posts get declined. Unless the LQP review queue gets rid of them before they're passed to a moderator (which IIRC happens after an hour).

A: When an answer answers the wrong question, is it Not An Answer?

Martijn PietersNo, answering the wrong question does not warrant a "Not an answer" flag. Just vote such an answer down. Comment on it if you like. But the OP of that post made a good-faith effort to create an answer. "Not an aswer" should be used for: Thanks, that solved it! -- thanking is not answering Why...

Hmm that user - on ServerFault "I'm Dustin DeTorres, Data Recovery Engineers at CBL Data Recovery Technologies" but on SuperUser "I'm Pierre POMMIER owner of Brisbane Data Recovery."

a_aI'm a bit confused as to the ordering of events leading to Sauron's demise at the end of the second age.
