Ah, that's good to know. I wasn't entirely clear on what exactly the bot does, and with this information it makes sense that we won't make much use of it. That being said, we do get a lot of moderately-low-quality posts that fit certain patterns and could be caught by automated filters. It would be a transparent square, but last time I tried that Imgur crushes it to black. (There's an MSE bug report on this.)

That other users' Gravatar images are blocked is slightly annoying; if I ever learn how to write userscripts, I'll write one to replace them with the first letter of their username. (Blocking is intended, collapsing into 0-pixel wide unclickable regions is annoying.)

I had that problem with Facebook icons... I just disabled blocking them in my Disconnect Firefox addon.
